If you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of everyday life - come escape to this cabin, off the beaten path - you won't hear another neighbor, just the sound of the wildlife and silence. Take your sweetie for a romantic weekend- soaking in the hot tub, enjoying the awesome mountain views, and watching the wildlife. But if you do decide to venture out you are within 15 - 40 minutes of lots of fun stuff to do.

Cripple Creek/Victor - 15 minutes - Our local gaming town and boasts one of the larges active gold mines.

Lots of Restaurants, mine tours, gaming, live theater - and incredible mountain views

Canon City - 40 minutes - some of the very best Whitewater rafting for all levels

Guffey - 20 minutes away - see the back country (gorgeous) by horseback with Justin Dunn- private trail ride

Manitou Springs - got to take the cog train up to the top of Pikes Peak, and don't miss Santa's North Pole

Colorado Springs- Air Force Academy, Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, Seven Falls, Zoo etc

Woodland Park - Golf at Shining Mountain, catch the farmers market during the summer

The perfect mountain cabin, in a perfect location.

Centrally located - 15 minutes to Cripple Creek, 25 minutes to Woodland Park (another 15 to Col Springs) 40 minutes to Canon City for the Royal Gorge and some of the very best White Water Rafting.

Oh yeah and our best kept local secret - the waterfall/swimming hole.

Spring Break Family Retreat

A very welcomed Spring Break retreat after a long trip from Texas and a 4 hour delay due to a snow storm. Upon arrival our family immediately felt at ease. The house was very well supplied with all the necessary linens to have our first restful night of our trip. The house is located in an isolated area, giving you that sense of "getting away" from it all. The location is fantastic for many family friendly activities. If you drive a hour any direction you will find things to do or stay at the house and enjoy the beautiful views and quiet nights sitting in the fantastic hot tub.
The property manager was fantastic when our vehicle broke down our first day there. He helped get our family back to the property and even came back the next day to pick up my husband and take him into town to have our vehicle serviced. We could not be more pleased with our stay at this property. We can't wait to return. We would definitely stay there again!

Couldnt have been more pleased by our stay here. The amenities of the cabin such as the pool table and hot tub, the isolation that gave us a wonderful evening and morning experience and the proximity to everything we wanted to do in the six days we were there made for a great getaway for us all. I hope next year to bring my niece and her family out here to give her two New York girls a real taste of the beauty of Colorado.

A great time in Colorado!

The cabin was wonderful! It was just as advertised. Secluded, with a wonderful view. The hot tub was great as well. Being able to relax in the hot tub while watching the stars (and getting rained on once) was fantastic. The customer service was great, and I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone! We hope to stay there again.
If you stay here, Mountain Burger in Florissant has wonderful huge hamburgers, and McGinty's in Divide was great as well.

Wonderful Getaway

My family and I loved the cabin. The quiet, secluded hideaway was perfect for us. It was perfectly located to make anything you wanted to see easy to get to and then still have time to enjoy the cabin in the evenings. I think we enjoyed watching the sunset, the cows, and listening to the coyotes at dusk as much as we did the tours we took while we were in the state. I am sure we will make a return visit very soon.
