VERDE VALLEY was one of Lonely Planet's Top 10 Destinations for 2012! Our comfortable vacation home, 25 minutes south of Sedona proper and has a large master bedroom with private ensuite plus walk in closet. Kitchen, dining and living area are open with large windows to the over-sized, landscaped fenced backyard. The second bedroom, bath and den are located at the front of the house and quite private from the master. This house is perfect for ONE OR TWO COUPLES. The yard has a sitting area right off the dining room, a flagstone patio with firepit and a private side courtyard with a six foot adobe style wall for complete privacy. The neighbourhood is friendly, quiet, terrific for morning walks and a refuge after a busy day of sightseeing. The stars are amazing as are the sunrises and sunsets.The beautiful red rocks of near by Oak Creek and Sedona makes this a photographers dream. The central location couldn't be better for seeing this wonderful area of Northern Arizona! It is our second home and we would welcome you as our guests.PLEASE note there is a minimum stay of SIX nights and ADULTS ONLY. The house is not child friendly. Situated in a quiet valley village, 25 minutes south of Sedona, on one quarter acre of fenced and private property. A large natural wash is directly behind the house. Great location for walking, biking or hiking the area and parks. Close to the red rocks of Sedona, Old Town Cottonwood, The Grand Canyon, the ghost town and artist colony of Jerome and historic Prescott. Six golf courses within 20 miles. Plenty of antiquing, sight-seeing and scenic drives. Several wineries nearby. Native American ruins - Montezuma Well and Montezuma Castle are a short drive. A large casino ten minutes away - with entertainment and fine dining. Within walking distance you can walk to a local restaurant - Crickets - for breakfast or lunch. Phoenix is 80 miles south for large malls and outlet shopping. Perfect for ONE OR TWO COUPLES. Sorry - No children. Prefer a six night minimum.

Awesome time. Beautiful, peaceful, very relaxing time. The house is decorated perfectly with lots of extra touches and kept very clean. We attended a wedding in Sedona, but wish we had more time to stay and explore the area. Owners are very nice people.

We keep coming back

Had another great time at Dragonfly House. The owners have added even more things to make the stay comfortable and the house is always immaculate.

FYI - AVOID Sedona and Jerome on the weekends - the traffic is terrible.

Had a terrific time doing the wineries on Page Springs Road and had dinner at Up the Creek - really good food and atmosphere.

Open mic night at Thanks A Latte in Camp Verde on Monday is really good local talent.

Coming back in the Fall.

No matter what direction you go in this house is close to everything. Old Cottonwood, Sedona, Camp Verde, Montezuma Well and Castle, wine tasting, antiquing. Walking distance to Ranch House bar and restaurant with live music on the weekends. Very quiet area and good for walking the dogs - huge back yard with lots of privacy. Seems like you are coming home at the end of a hectic day of sightseeing. Friendly and helpful owner and Property Manager with lots of travel tips.

Nice house and great backyard. The owners were easy to get a hold of and very nice. The neighborhood was quite, away from the crowds of Sedona. That said, if you are wanting to be close to Sedona and all the shops and restaurants, this is not the house for you. Takes about 30 min to get to Sedona, 40 min if there is traffic. There are some great things close by, like the Montazuma Well. If you do not mind waiting for a table, try Elote. the food was very good.
