Marble Mountain Chalet is your ideal vacation home. Marble Mountain Chalet has four bedrooms, each with king beds. Each bedroom has its own unique style with comfy linens and warm color schemes. There are two master bedrooms on the main and upper levels and the lower level bedrooms each have their own private entrance. Each of the oversized bedrooms has a flat screen television with 200 channels, plenty of closet space, comfortable warm lighting, and ceiling fans for warm nights. During the summer months, the bedrooms on the main and upper levels have air conditioning units and the entire house is heated with an in floor heating system. There is also a queen size blow up mattress and all linens are provided.
There are four and a half bathrooms at Marble Mountain Chalet. Two of these bathrooms are master bathrooms located on the main and upper level. The half bath is also located on the main level. Both of the master bathrooms have oversized shower stalls and the upper level bathroom has a walk in closet. The lower level bathroom has a huge steam shower and a urinal. Also located on the lower level is an eight-person Finlandian dry sauna.
The kitchen and living room combination at Marble Mountain Chalet is the perfect place to entertain and spend time with your friends and family. The living room portion of the combo offers comfortable couches, a flat screen television with 200 channels, a fireplace, and surround sound. The kitchen is a master chefs dream. It has an open floor plan, tons of counter space, and is fully stocked with every tool needed to prepare awesome meals for the entire crew. There are ten stools around the kitchen island for everyone to dine and spend time with each other. There is also a small desk included in this space and wireless internet, local, and long-distance (USA only) calls are included.
The outdoor living space at Marble Mountain Chalet has awesome amenities to help you enjoy your vacation even more. The huge deck connected to the main level of the home offers a hot tub, an outdoor dining area that seats eight, and awesome views. The yard of the home offers a fire pit with eight Adirondack chairs and plenty of room for kids and adults to run around and hang out.
The location of the chalet is perfect for adventurers, shoppers, foodies, skiers, hikers, and everyone else. Its located two miles from Whiteface Mountain, a fifteen-minute drive from Lade Placid, steps away from the Adirondack Wildlife Refuge, and much more. There are plenty of hiking trails within a five-minute drive of the home. These trails vary from relaxed walking/beginner trails all the way up to hard climbs/expert trails. Just two miles from the chalet is the Whiteface Mountain ski center. Home of the 1980 Olympics, this mountain offers tons of fun rides for every level of ski or snowboarder. The town of Lake Placid, a short fifteen-minute drive from the home, offers shopping, dining, attractions, and much more. Just down the street from the chalet is the Adirondack Wildlife Refuge, access to Ausable River, and the location of the kayaks we provide for guests to use. The Adirondack Wildlife Refuge is home to some really cool animals that the folks at the refuge take great pride in rehabilitating and educating others about.
Marble Mountain Chalet is kept in pristine condition and the owners and rental team take great pride in ensuring that it is perfect for each guest’s vacation. There is a handyman service on call 24 hours a day for any issues that may arise during your stay. Also, the property manager, Steve Hall, is on call and just down the street to answer any questions or concerns.

Activities at Whiteface Mountain: Veterans Memorial Highway is an incredible journey up an historic eight mile highway to the top of the Highest Adirondack Peak accessible by car.
Take a Cloudsplitter Gondola Rides to the top of Little Whiteface for a 360 degree panoramic view of the Adirondack Mountains & lakes. Nature Treks (includes a Gondola Ride) is a 1.5 mile guided hike along the West branch of the Ausable River one of the East's great trout streams & down the scenic Stag Brook Falls trail.
Bear Den Picnic hike is a 3.5 hours guided hike to the top of Bear Den Mountain. Disc Golf allows you to follow the course around the bottom sections of some favorite Whiteface ski trails, throwing Frisbee like discs form one 'hole' to the next. The flume trail system is comprised of approx. ten miles of trails open to mountain biking hiking cross country skiing & snowshoeing in the town of Wilmington.
Ski: Whiteface Mountain the Olympic Mountain has the greatest vertical drop at 3,430 feet east of the Rocky Mountains and trails for everyone in your family. This is where the world’s best come to train and compete. Take a second to take in amazing view of the surrounding Adirondack Mountains. Whiteface offers 86 trails, acres to ski 283 including 35 in-bounds, also 53 acres of tree skiing.
The longest run the 'Wilmington Trail' at 2.1 miles(total skiing and riding over 22 miles). Whiteface skiing offers private lessons, kids campus(bears den nursery, play -n- ski program, junior adventure, future medalist,cloudspitter club, cloudspitter teen club, teen experience), adult snow-sports school(adult beginner, snow-boomers club, class lessons), adaptive programs, terrain park. The slides a series of steep narrow chutes are open when ski patrol deems them safe and are expert only terrain. Whiteface offers 6 restaurants to grab a bite and relax in. Craigwood offers 18 holes of challenging rounds of golf in a spectacular setting. Whiteface Club has 18 holes this historical course is perched on the shores of beautiful lake placid offering a challenge on each and every fairway and green.
Saranac Inn offers 18 holes one of the finest maintained and challenging courses on the northeast. Saranac Lake Club has 18 holes of fun and challenging courses.
Tupper Lake Golf Club sculptured at the base of Mt. Muris has lush rolling fairways with small greens.
Cobble Hill Municipal Golf Course offers 18 holes a scenic course built in a rugged area that is challenging but an enjoyable course to play.
