This charming apartment is located on the North Shore of Staten Island on “Decker Avenue”. Decker Avenue is well-known for its well-maintained homes and beautiful tree lined street. It is a quiet and safe residential neighborhood with a diverse ethnic population of residents. The apt. is situated on the second floor of a two family home with its own private entrance. It is very spacious, bright and open. It has three nice size bedrooms with cable TV in each, a separate dining room and a large kitchen and living room area. Wi-Fi is also available.

The apartment is in walking distance to the Forest Ave Shopping Plaza where you will find a large supermarket, pharmacies and general stores such as: T.J. Max, Payless, and Michaels. In the surrounding area you will find plenty of fine dining restaurants, quick eateries, small groceries stores for quick food shopping and several banks.
There are two major golf courses within 5 miles of the property: Silver Lake Golf Course and LaTourette Golf Course. There are two nearby parks: Clove Road and Silver Lake parks. The Staten Island Zoo is also a close attraction. Laundry Services and Post Office are also in walking distance (5 to 10 minute walk). The Staten Island Mall is a 20 minute bus ride (bus stops stop is across the street from the apartment) or a 10 minute ride by car.
There are plenty of city buses (local and express) in this area. Take an express bus into Manhattan (“The Big Apple”) or take a local bus to the Staten Island Ferry. The famous “Staten Island Ferry” is located in the area of St. George which is just a 20 minute bus ride or 10 minute ride by car. The Staten Island Ferry transports Staten Islanders, sightseers and visitors between Staten Island and Manhattan for free and runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Private parking is available at the Staten Island Ferry Terminal.
If you are planning on renting a vehicle during your stay, there is plenty of on-street parking available on Decker Ave. The area is easily accessible to all major highways, bridges and Staten Island Expressway. The Staten Island Expressway and the New Jersey Turnpike are only 5 minutes away. If you are flying in - the nearest airport is “Newark Airport” which is located in New Jersey (20 minute drive).
