Welcome to Two Sisters Cottage! On a quiet dead-end street, Two Sisters is really 2 cozy bungalows for the price of one. The main (sleeping) cottage offers 2 bedrooms (1 queen, 1 full bed) plus a full bath (tub with shower), fully outfitted kitchen, lovely lake-view dining area, and comfortable living room for relaxing and watching cable TV or DVDs. At beach level, our newly renovated lakeside cabana (no sleeping facilities) is surrounded by decking and lounge chairs, just a few steps from your own boat dock and beach, and is outfitted with mini-fridge, bar, blender, comfy furniture, and a hammock, giving you a wonderful place to relax at the end of a day on the lake. Between the two buildings is a lovely landscaped patio with picnic table, lounge chairs, gas grill, shade trees and of course lake view. It doesn't get better than than this!

Two Sisters Cottage is a centrally located getaway in Dresden, New York, at the intersection of Routes 14 and 54 and near many of the region's award-winning wineries on the Seneca and Keuka Lake Wine Trails. Nearby towns of Penn Yan, Geneva, Watkins Glen, and Hammondsport are a short drive away and offer shopping, antiquing, and more. We are 6 miles from groceries, gas, restaurants, and movie theaters, 8 miles from a state boat launch and boat rentals. A public playground and tennis courts are 1 mile from the cottage. On a rainy day, enjoy the cottage's cozy living room outfitted with a Sony 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV and Blu-Ray DVD player and small library of popular movies as well as a selection of books and magazines ... or play board games or cards at the dining table as you enjoy the lake view.
Dresden is a rural area offering scenic drives through farmland and rolling hillsides of grape vineyards and past beautiful natural sights such as waterfalls. As well as boating, fishing, and other lake pursuits, nature lovers and active travelers will love the proximity to the Keuka Outlet Trail for biking, hiking, and exploring. Whether you seek outdoor adventure in your kayak or on your mountain bike or you prefer a stroll through antique stores followed by a glass of wine at one of our fabulous local wineries, you will love your stay at Two Sisters Cottage on Seneca Lake!
RENTAL FEE, CLEANING FEE, AND DEPOSIT: A $300 security deposit is required at the time of booking to hold your reservation (you can mail me a check or pay with a credit card online via Paypal); this fee will be fully refunded if the property is undamaged at the time of check-out and if the place is tidy, as mentioned, otherwise a $50 cleaning fee will be deducted from that deposit. The $50 cleaning fee will be waived if you leave the place broom swept and lightly tidied up (dishes washed, etc.). The total rental fee (your nightly or weekly rental total + 4% lodging tax) is due within one week of booking your reservation.
CANCELLATIONS: A 30-day notice is required for cancellations. Cancellations that are made 30 days or less from the arrival date will forfeit 50% of their deposit. If I am able to re-book the cottage during your cancelled dates, I will refund you the deposit minus a cancellation fee of $50. You may choose to purchase travel insurance separately.
