Gorgeous, quiet lakeside retreat situated in a woodsy private cottage community. 450 feet of beach, walking distance to the village harbor, marina, winery, pubs, shopping, churches, and parks. Immediate area also offers neighboring towns to enjoy antiquing, horse camps, art studios, flea markets, and an old fashioned drive in movie theater..During summer months free concerts each Friday night as well as countless art shows, festivals and special attractions.Concerts are always fun at the Lexington Music Theater featuring cabaret seating.

Home is well stocked and fabulously furnished. Impeccably clean and quaint. Only one hour drive from the metropolitan area of Detroit.

Wonderful vacation cottage!

My husband, our 1 year old son and myself all had a great weekend vacation in Lexington thanks to Rebecca and Mark. The cottage was very clean and spacious. The view to the water was beautiful and the beach was very nice. We were able to relax with all the comforts of home. Rebecca was great to book with!

Perfect family get away

We booked a last minute trip to Lexington and were lucky to find Rebecca's cottage available. Our family of three (including a 3.5 month old boy) had a wonderful time. The cottage had ample space for us when we spent time inside, and couldn't be in a more wonderful location for beach access, a beautiful view of Lake Huron and access to downtown Lexington.
Rebecca was very helpful in setting up our reservation. We did this last minute and she made putting our plans together very easy.
Everything was clean and ready when we arrived, and the cottage had all we needed for our 5 day stay (plates, glasses, silverware, beach umbrella!) If you are staying for a week or longer there are pots and pans, but if your are particular have your 'do everything' pan, bring it. Other than that, you've got a full kitchen to make meals and grill if you are staying in.
Our families and some friends came to visit during our short stay. They didn't stay over, but there is certainly room between the main bedroom (queen), second bedroom (2 twins) and couches in the living room if that is in your plans. Again, the cottage has a lot of space, it really is comfortable.
A nice surprise was the beach had nice lawn chairs for use, so you may not need to bring beach chairs.
All in all, this was a wonderful place to stay. The people in the neighborhood are extremely nice and it's just simply a relaxing and beautiful location. This was our first family vacation and we are already discussing how we can plan a return trip next year!

Great Girls Getaway!

What a beautiful cottage and location! We were very impressed by the size of the cottage. The pictures on line do not do it justice!! It was spotless on arrival and very comfortable! The neighbours were all very welcoming and friendly.
Rebecca was a joy to work with. Very accomodating with our everchanging departure date!
A couple of notes for future travellers....
Bring sturdy water shoes, the beach is nice white sand but the water is FULL of very slippery rocks and boulders.
Packing a couple of extra fans was a god send for us during the heat of summer.
There was no WIFI signal which was an issue for us but maybe not for everyone. There is wifi hotspots in Lexington.
Over all very relaxing and enjoyable. I would highly reccomend this cottate to anyone!!

We truly feel blessed to be able to help people unwind from the mononity of every day life. We have struggled over the idea to bring wifi and central air to the lake house, some prefer to vacation unplugged while others feel inconvienced without all the comforts of home.We will soon make a decision about this and move forward one way or another. Very clean, updated, and comfortable place for 5 of us. Absolutely loved the Water View, as we gazed out the windows of the Cottage.We really enjoyed the Private Beach, with a bonfire under the stars, with the fireflies around us. Beautiful view of the Freighters passing by. A 1/2 mile from town was perfect. Great location! Only 20 minutes from the Drive In Theatre in Carsonville. We loved the Public Beach also, where we enjoyed Beach Volleyball. Famiy owned Restaurants, and Shopping/Markets in the town of Lexington. Only stayed one night there due to my work schedule, but felt like I had a week vacation. So relaxing, and had fun! Owner of Cottage (Rebecca) is very professional, friendly, reliable, and courteous. Highly Recommended! I would definitely go back there, and recommend to friends/family. Thank you for letting me charge my batteries, and get refreshed with this trip!
