This Seychelles west end unit is on the east end of Panama City Beach in the well established Thomas Drive area. It is close to St. Andrews State Park and boat rides to Shell Island and it sits directly next to Schooners beach club, a great place for beach-side dining, live music and fun. You can leave the car in the garage and start walking in any direction to see what you find. Or take a quick and easy drive to Pier Park, about 20 minutes to the west, or go into Panama City and visit the shops on Harrison Ave in the old downtown area, especially on the first Friday Night of each summer month.

2ND YEAR IN NEARLY PARADISE

We can't waait to get back here each. We love it so much we signed up for a third year before we arrived in December. The view is breathtaking, the unit is tastefully and comfortably decorated and well provisioned for a pleasant stay. Being next door to Schooners is another plus, and Marina Cantina, another favorite haunt of ours, is about a mile away. Still it all comes down to the beach and the pheominal views. There's no place we'd rather be!

BEAUTIFUL ACCOMMODATIONS WITH SPECTACULAR VIEWS

The condo was beautiful, clean, well-decorated, and spacious, just as pictured and described. The wraparound balcony was spectacular, and we spent a lot of time out there watching the waves, sunrises, and sunsets when we weren't on the beach.

We had no problems with the appliances, entry doors, or garage access, with the exception of the DVD players and remotes. The property managers have been apprised, and I'm sure they'll be replaced or repaired soon. The property managers provided excellent customer service and answered all of my questions promptly and completely.

We loved the location and Schooners next door, especially once we got used to the sunset cannon. The local merchants were friendly and inviting. Although it was not close to Pier Park, I preferred its proximity to St. Andrews Park. The only negative to the property was the hordes of teens that overran the pools and hot tub day and night. They seemed to prefer the pool/hot tub area to the beach.

Unfortunately, the gulf and lagoon were still suffering from the 20 inches of rain over July 4th weekend and the water was murky and more brown than emerald green but still beautiful. We saw plenty of rays and then some dolphins at Shell Island (the water there looked like tea and snorkeling was discouraged). The local news featured a hammerhead spotted at St. Andrews, but he did not venture over to our part of the Gulf.

We had my birthday dinner at the Salt Water Grill, a 15-minute drive away, because Captain Anderson's is closed on Sundays. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent at Salt Water. We heard good things about Boondocks and Boatyard and tried to go, but they were both closed. Most of the larger restaurants do not open until after 4 p.m.

A visit to Seacrest Wolf Preserve is a must. The drive is a little harrowing in spots, but it's well worth it. The wolves are beautiful. The owners and crew are knowledgeable and caring trustees of one of America's oldest animal species. Children younger than 6 can only visit the small animal and wolf puppy area. The wolves and pups were *unusually interested* in my grandson, who is 16 months. Thank God for 10-foot fences. The preserve is open to the public via reservation on Saturdays. It's an experience.

We hope to visit Panama City Beach again soon and will definitely want to rent this exact condo when we do. Thanks to the property managers for a great stay and a beautiful vacation.

The Seychelles sits at the bend of Thomas Drive near the entrance of St Andrew's State Park. Also nearby is the marina with varied water sport rentals and excursions such as boat rides to Shell Island. Golf and many roadside attractions are close by with shopping and dining to please everyone in your group.
