The location is perfect, just a couple of kilometers from Beaune and the beautiful Burgundy region. We were six of us, so we had the chateaux to ourselves. We thoroughly enjoyed cooking meals in the well-furnished kitchen, and then eating them in the backyard or the dining room. The châteaux is very tastefully decorated, the upstairs bedroom and bathroom are stunning. But what made the stay most enjoyable was the attitude of the caretaker, Pascal. He was very helpful, and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. His son was in the hospital, and despite that, he spent hours on end fixing the internet, which was not working properly due to some fault of the local telephone company. The owner, Arnaud, also made sure that our needs were met. Thanks to Pascal, Arnaud, and amazing Burgundy, we had one of the most memorable vacations ever.

The pictures do not lie. There are some beautiful antiques, silk draperies, top of the line appliances, large en suite bathrooms with tub and separate shower. There are two bedrooms on the 2nd floor and one on the 3rd. Each one is very private. We stayed on the 3rd floor. The decorating was perfect, oh that blue and white bathroom, gorgeous, and the view from our windows! Vineyards as far as the eye can see. Great to sit outside at the table for any meal, with wonderful conversation among good friends.
Wifi is excellent.
Easy to get into Beaune, also a short trip to what became one of the group's (3 couples) favorites, Nuit St George. Great lunch, al fresco, then a wine tasting in a local cellar. Returned another day to the same bistro for lunch again.
Arnaud was always available by phone or email, (as was Pascal, the caretaker). He gave us a tour of the winery and we did enjoy the wine. How fabulous to drink the wine where it is produced. We have great memories.
We've already recommended it to a friend.
We stayed at this beautiful chateau in late October. While the weather was cool and rainy, we enjoyed the warmth and beauty of the chateau. The home is beautifully decorated with family treasures. The large kitchen easily served us. The washer/dryer in the basement was a plus as we had been on the road for a week. The bedrooms and baths have been updated. The owner was onsite to provide any assistance during our stay. He secured wine tastings and Bistrot reservations at unique sites. We enjoyed the tomatoes and roses from the garden. One evening we enjoyed a meal prepared by a private chef who came to the chateau and served a perfect dinner. The location of the chateau was perfect for our needs. We took a cooking class in Beaune (the Cook's Atelier), drove to south to Chateau La Rochepot and north to Chateau du Clos de Vougeot. Beaune is an enchanting town and we enjoyed exploring it but we're very glad to be at the chateau in the peace and quiet of the French countryside. We highly recommend this chateau and charming owner. We will return to enjoy it again. The Walkers and Baloghs October 2014
My family and I spent 3 magical nights at the Chateau. Entering the grounds was like driving into a French fairytale. The stately chateau stood at the end of a long driveway amist fruit trees and fields of sunflowers where we were greeted by the owner, Arnaud. The home was tastefully appointed, filled with light and very comfortable. With our windows open, we awakened to the smell of freshly cut grass, glimpses of the local wildlife and chirping birds. We spent the first day in the beautiful village of Beaune, a short drive away after visiting the local patisserie(which you must visit before -10am for best selection). We highly recommend the wine tasting/tour at Joseph Drouhin in Beaune. Upon our return, we had arranged for a local chef to prepare us a 5 course decadent dinner. Appetizers in the garden and dinner in the dining room was a recipe for perfection(combined with the wines from the chateau that Arnaud so graciously shared)! Our last night at the chateau, we prepared a French meal of our own (including tomatoes picked from Arnaud's garden)and dined in the garden with candelight and wonderful wines while watching the sunset over the vineyard. A prefect end to an amazing 3 days. Arnaud is a wonderful host, charming with a great sense of humor and a great historian. We will be back!

My family had a wonderful time at this beautifully decorated and renovated chateau. The chateau was located at a very good place point to explore many different areas of Burgundy. We also had the priviledge of getting a tour of the chateau owner's wine cave in the premise. Arnaud was very generous and gave us his excellent bottles. My husband and I loved his wine! He was also very helpful and knowledgeable with any questions we had. I hope you get a chance to experience this wonderful place!
We had a wonderful experience at the chateau. Pascal is an amazing caretaker and Arnaud a very conscientious owner. The setting is unsurpassed and the interior very comfortable. I would highly recommend this home!
