Inviting upside-down house located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, just minutes from Surfside bike path and some of the most beautiful beaches on Nantucket. Close by, you can pick from six incredible beaches-- Surfside, Fisherman's, Nobadeer, Miacomet, Ladies, and Cisco. Each is unique and distinct. Convenient bus service into town and to some beaches is less than 2 minutes away. A public 18 hole golf course is located nearby. Take a bus or ride into town for incredible shopping, great restaurants, museums and viewing one of the most beautiful harbors on the East Coast. The Cisco Brewery is on the way home from some of the beaches and offers beer, wine and cocktails in an airy open courtyard with musicians. Two blocks away from the house is a children's playground and two blocks from there, is Nantucket Elementary School's playground. Bring your bike (or rent one) to ride on the many bike paths around Nantucket. Anywhere from 2 to 20 miles. On the bay side of the island are great beaches for the little ones, Jetties, Dionis, Steps and Children's to name a few.
