Texas Tubes, along with other outfitters, surround the condos and you can jump in for a two hour float. The outfitters will bring you back to your condo and let you do the float again! They will also provide shuttle service to the Guadalupe River that is only several miles away. River Run condos have a great location downtown very close to Landa Park, the Wurstfest grounds and historic Gruene. Walker and runners love it, you can jog five minutes to the start of the Wurst Five Mile Run in Landa Park. One of the top 20 swimming holes in Texas according the Texas Monthly Magazine. River Run is where locals swim, the tube chute is amazingly fun!
The Texas Hill Country is known it's rivers, historic villages, great Mexican, German and BBQ cuisines. Tubing the Guadalupe from Canyon Lake to Gruene, Texas. Boating, jet skiing, wake boarding and fishing are the favorite water sports at Canyon Lake and Lakes Dunlap, Placid, McQueeney. Natural Bridge Caverns and Wildlife Ranch are fun for the kids as well at the McKenna Children's Museum. Numerous museums are in the downtown museum district of New Braunfels.
