Tybee Island Cottage Rental Photos and Description
3 bedrooms, 1 full bath, 1 half-bath, 2 shower rooms, sleeps 10 - 15
Newly renovated. The open floor plan and lots of windows make the kitchen/living area of Dreamsicle Beach Cottage a very appealing place to gather or to quietly watch the awesome sunsets we so often get. All 3 bedrooms are large (big enough for an air mattress, too, if desired). Besides the shower in the main bathroom, two hot showers are outdoors in enclosed shower rooms. A bedroom with 5 windows looks out onto the peaceful back yard. This back yard with its shade trees and palm trees is a wonderful place to congregate or just read a book. Have breakfast outdoors on the shady deck at the table for 6. Grill in the evening. Sit in the porch swing that is hung from an old live oak and talk with a friend reclining in a hammock strung between 2 palm trees. The back yard is completely enclosed by a combination of picket fence and privacy fence.
Dreamsicle is only 2 very short blocks from the beach. Stroll to the beach on a dirt lane alongside a creek with cattails and minnows. We are in a quiet residential area (no through traffic) but within 3 blocks of dining and shopping --- 6 restaurants, 2 clothing shops, surf shop, pharmacy, convenience store, liquor store, ATM, and Post Office.

Guestbook comments from the manager
I just wanted to take a minute and thank you for sharing Dreamsicle with us. It was perfect for our needs. I loved that we could close off the two bedrooms we weren't using creating a little shotgun house for us. The fenced yard was great for the dogs and we enjoyed the deck on the few really nice days that we had while there. It is a perfect location. I walked the dogs up to the park a couple of times each day and enjoyed the Egrets, Herons and turtles we saw along the way. I've shared the links to your properties with several friends so hopefully they will choose your properties for their visits to Tybee, too. We will certainly revisit Dreamsicle on our next trip to the area. Thanks again and God Bless.
