If you enjoy some retail therapy then shopping in the area is well available for you. Besides Port Charlotte and Sarasota Shopping Malls we also have St. Armands Circle in Siesta Key in Sarasota which is a must, if you are not shopped out go to the Ellenton Outlet Mall must head North on I-75 in Brandon or the Miramar Outlets heading South on I – 75 in Estero. That’s where you find the bargains!!!!!!!!!!!
Englewood is on the Cape Haze Peninsula, an area of unspoiled natural beauty and tranquility. Beautiful white sandy beaches provides sunbathing, swimming, and beachcombing. Indeed shelling is something of a local passion, with serious “shellers”taking to the beach everyday to search for exotic shells and sharks teeth.
This spacious family room has multiple channels from cable television and WI FI high speed internet. A CD radio is placed inside the home so you can enjoy your favorite music throughout the day while you are swimming by the pool or getting ready for dinner plans tune in to your favorite radio station.
This fully fitted and spacious kitchen boasts with a host of amenities including a dishwasher, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, cookware and crockery. There is also a separate utility room with a washing machine, and dryer with a sink to soak and linens.
Your private and fully screened pool enclosed incorporates spacious decking with sun loungers. A large shaded lanai with outdoor dining area and seating overlooks the superb heated swimming pool. An external illuminated ceiling fan adds a cooling breeze to our warm Florida days. For the safety of young children, pool fence is placed for everyone’s peace of mind. For your convenience there is a separate entrance to the washroom from the pool area.
The spacious Master bedroom has a king size bed with a high quality of comfort in our mattresses, plenty of storage space for all your clothes. Use the walk in closets to your liking. The master also has a TV with cable TV connection. The master bathroom has twin washbasins, large bathtub, walk in shower, and a private potty area.
The second guest room is a queen room which has a queen size bed, with high quality of comfort in our mattresses. Plenty of storage in closets. The queen also has a TV and cable connection. The queen also features a bathroom with a shower, bathtub, and a washbasin.
The third and fourth guest bedrooms have twin beds with access to guest bathroom in hallway with a tub/shower combination.. Both bedrooms have featured closet space for both all guests.
With Sarasota and Tampa an easy drive to the North and Fort Myers and Naples to the South, the Englewood areas enjoys the enviable positions of providing the excitement of a major metropolitan area with the laid back atmosphere of its rural roots.
Fishing is very popular in this area; with Boca Grande on Gasparilla Island is only 15 minutes away. For Florida’s finest and greatest tarpon fishing some of Floridian’s best small fishing. Throughout most of the year trout, redfish, snook, sheepshead, snapper, and great bottom fishing are at your fingertips. During March and April the migrating fish (mackerel, pompano, kingfish etc) can be caught easily as they pass north. A southerly migration of the same takes place in September through to Late November. Fishing licenses can be purchased locally, with rod hire and bait. There are an abundance of fishing waters including the Gasparilla Sound Aquatic preserve and many inland coastal waterways around Port Charlotte, together with two local fishing piers.
If you enjoy boating, we have charter agencies available to offer you fully equipped powerboats for your boating pleasures. Half days or full days are available. Dolphin and manatee sighting cruises are also available in this area.
You can sunbath, swim, or even snorkel on our beautiful beaches Englewood, Boca, Grande, Venice, Nokomis, Manasota, Siesta Key, beaches are all within 20 minute drive of all our properties. Venice Beaches are 20 minutes from Englewood. Englewood is shark teeth capital of the world, and has been a favorite for visitors for many generations. Manatee and dolphin sightings are frequent, and are special too. Even to us locals.
Passionate about golf? Golfing in the area is well catered for with five championship golf courses on Rotonda alone. Our rolling greens, lush fairways and cool breezes, invitingly framed by native pines, oaks, and palms. Come and enjoy and try out at least some of our golf courses locally. They are all within 15 miles of all our properties. Golf packages are available for all renters. Apply within.
If you enjoy bird watching or studying Flora and Fauna, the area is rich in beautiful birds – if you are lucky you may spot a bald eagle. Native birds such as herons, egrets, ospreys, and pelicans are seen quite often. During the winter months, the area is home to many shorebirds such as snowy plovers and skimmers. Indeed, the whole surrounding area is classified as a bird sanctuary.
Hiking, kayaking, and canoeing are also all available in the area. There is a local tennis club in Englewood and tennis courts with a children’s playground in the middle of Rotonda. Together there is a cycle path. Biking is very popular with several nature trails in the vicinity for the cyclist and walkers to enjoy. Bikes are provided for our renters to use at your villa for your enjoyment.
Come and spoil yourself in this tropical paradise. Whether you want to lay back and relax by the pool or go to a theme park for the day come and enjoy our good nature. Just 1 1/2 hours away from Bush Gardens Theme Park, or 2 hours from Walt Disney World, Or you can just do nothing- except enjoy the sunny days and exotic sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico.
