Wonderful Mountain Vacation

My husband and I had an outstanding vacation at this delightful Lake Sheila cabin. The lake is beautiful and serene -- perfect for swimming, fishing, kayaking or canoeing. No motorcrafts are allowed on the lake, which preserves the tranquility of the area. The kitchen is very well-stocked, so if you cook, you should have almost everything you need. The road to the cabin makes a 1.5 mile loop around the lake, so it's perfect for daily walks. The drive to and from town gives you picturesque views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the small town of Saluda is charming, with a few restaurants, gift shops and art galleries. For more shopping, Hendersonville is a quick drive, and hiking trails at Pearson Falls (in or just outside Saluda) or in the Asheville area are not far away. For a vacation to let you decompress while relaxing in the beauty of the mountains at a lakefront cabin, this property is ideal. We plan to stay there again.
