The apartment is located in the green geothermal town Hveragerði only half an hour drive / 45 km from Reykjavik. Hveragerði is well located having many interesting places all around within 100 km radius, i.e. Þingvellir, Laugarvatn, Gullfoss, Geysir, Reykjavik, Blue Lagoon, Hekla Volcano, Eyjafjallajökull, Landeyjahöfn – ferry to Vestman islands, Þórsmörk. Hveragerði has a great surroundings with geothermal area in the town center, lots of walking and biking trails in the town and at the mountains around , geothermal heated swimming pool and one of the most interesting 9 hole golf course in Iceland.
The local bank is only 2 minutes walk from the apartment, the supermarket, the bar and restaurant 5-10 minutes walk, the swimingpool 5 minutes walk, the golfcourse within 5 minutes drive. As you can see this is a central location.
