This house with private pool and spa is characterized form amazing views of the mountains, the Teide and Orotava´s valley. The house has been renovated completely and turned into a high standard holiday property, it´s located in the middle of vineyards. This large country property is situated below the town of La Orotava, to puerto de la Cruz, it´s only a 10 minutes by car. This villa is composed of two units which can only be taken together (only six metres distant), ideal accommodation for 2 couples travelling together or a big family. The Finca has the calm note of an oasis away from the bustle of mass tourism. The small village community of Orotava - with shopping facilities and restaurant - is reached within a few minutes drive and the next beaches in just 10 min.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this villa. The two houses worked really well for us as we travelled with extended family and, as a couple, had a house to ourselves. It was really like being in a fab hotel suite with more facilities! It's location in the mountains made for a very peaceful venue, not too far from La Oratava or Puerta de la Cruz (both lovely). It was very private, which made sitting in the hot tub, even in the rain, especially enjoyable. We couldn't get the pool hot enough to be really comfortable, but it was February - this may not be the case in summer - and we weren't charged. The villas are very tastefully decorated and very clean - a mid week change of linen is provided but almost not necessary. It really was a shame to leave.

Great place to chill out

The villa in Oratave in northern Tenerife is actually two villas. Each has a double bedroom with en-suite, a large reception room, a fully equipped kitchen in each, plus a a shower room and toilet in each. Total of four bathrooms/toilets. The villa is tastefully decorated and well furnished. The exquisite finishing touches have been done by the owner who used to work with Laura Ashley. The villa is on a hill-side surrounded by extensive vine yards and orchards. The numerous terraces give uniterrupted views of the superb Mount Tiede peak and the town of Puerto de la Cruz below. There is a cheap and rustic Canarian restaurant two minutes up the hill which serves great barbacued meat and large quantities of the super local wine. The swimming pool (paid separately if you want it heated) and the spa are both very nice on a sunny day or even on a cold evening. The owner's son, Pablo, is very good and attentive in ensuring that your stay at the villa is comfortable and relaxing. He went out of his way to ensure that we were not inconvinienced or unhappy in any way. The price is a bit on the high speed but the high quality of the villa and the very sincere and attentive owners make it worthwhile. Recommended.
