Guestbook comments from the owner

We travel quite frequently and have rented apartments in different countries, and out of all places we have seen this one is the cleanest and the best taken care of. It seems that the owners thought through every possible need of their guests, and tried to do their best to please them. The whole house is beautifully decorated, with nice hardwood floors, good size rooms, and comfortable beds. The internet was fast and reliable, and the TV screen is big and bright. There are several supermarkets, pharmacies and restaurants quite close to the apartment, and the subway stations (2) are about 10 minutes away. Wendy is a very warm and kind person who goes above and beyond her responsibility as owner and offers help on sightseeing, activities and provides numerous brochures in the condo. EXCELLENT!!!!!

Beautiful, comfortable and great location - you won't regret it

  • 5 of 5

We got an almost immediate response after inquiring. From then, the owner, has been extremely helpful, accomodating and friendly. The first impression is WOW, the appartment is fully renovated, decorated with taste and well equipped. It has 2 spacious bedrooms, a nice kitchen, spacious living area and a huge balcony in the back. It's very clean and quiet. It is is well furnished and fresh towels and linens are provided. The location was perfect - within walking distance to a grocery stores, wine store, cafes, restaurants and the bike path/boardwalk along the St-Lawrence river. We enjoyed taking walks along there in the evening and the kids enjoyed running around and going to the numerous parks. Two bus stops on the corner and there is a bike (BIXI) location close by. It's only a 15-minute bus ride to the Old Montreal and downtown. The owner obviously takes great pride in making this apartment comfortable for guests. She was very helpful in answering questions and giving us tourist tips, you will find tons of brochures as well in the condo. We would certainly come back again. I highly recommend this condo and location. Free street parking is available (if you decide to take your car) and easy to find a spot.

Well-placed for 2 couples exploring Montreal

  • 5 of 5

From this well-organized, nicely appointed, spotless apartment you've got a great vantage point for seeing Montréal, and enjoying the diversity of neighborhoods. We alternated between making meals in the apartment and eating out and the many and varied restaurants that Montreal offers. (A fresh bagel place just 1-1/2 blocks away; a Turkish restaurant and a Peruvian restaurant that couldn't have been more different -- equally delicious; a nice Italian weekend brunch restaurant on the waterfront (10-minute walk); as well as an easy metro trip to the Atwater (indoor/outdoor) Marketplace. Our host, Wendy, is fluently bilingual and very well informed -- with an "information center" in the apartment that includes maps, and brochures on all the museums and activities you'll need. Day trips can be planned with ease, and some practical information from Wendy. A block away, a direct bus line to the center of Montréal was ideal. We'll do this again!

Well located and beautifully furnished.

  • 5 of 5

We were able to leave our car parked out front and use public transportation exclusively. The metro was about a 10 minute walk but we were able to use buses to get to the metro and make it go even quicker. There are restaurants conveniently nearby and a grocery store about a 10-15 minute walk away.

Wendy the owner was very helpful in answering all our questions and provided metro, bus, activity and restaurant information.

The furnishings were quite modern with beautiful hardwood floors, paintings on the wall, and etched glass doors. The dishwasher and washer and dryer appeared to be brand-new.

The traditional Montreal outdoor stairs could be daunting in snow and ice or if you have difficulty walking.

Our damage deposit was refunded immediately, before we left.

First class 5* condo

  • 5 of 5

A home away from home, wonderful to back to this condo after a day of walking around and exploring a new city. My friend and I stayed for 4 nights and made use of every bit of it. We had lovely quiet meals and drank wine on the patio, we ate and made breakfast, the dining room is great. We found there was nothing we needed that wasn't there. Conveniently located to 2 metro stations and buses to take you to Old Montreal, downtown and the subways if you don't feel walking 10 minutes. The condo is so quiet and spacious and has a designer feel to it. It is very clean and well kept. Along the main street there are restaurants, bistros, coffee shops and pharmacies. Free parking is a plus, only one negative.... We wished we could've stayed longer but we definitely plan on returning with friends.
