Great beach house in the Niantic section of East Lyme, short walk to private Giants Neck Heights Association beach; parking pass included. Just completed brand new kitchen with granite counter tops and newly added private master bathroom, unbeatable value given the proximity to the beach and living area.

Easy walk to the private beach which connects to Rocky Neck State Park where you can hike or bike the many trails. After a day at the beach you can relax on the porch and or the private patio and cook on the grill. Visit nearby Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun Casinos for great nightlife. Have fun antiquing, shop at the outlet stores in Westbrook and Clinton, visit Mystic Seaport/Aquarium or head to downtown Niantic for great restaurants and a classic movie theater.

Three bedrooms, each includes a queen size bed, a dresser and a closet. Two full baths, one bath is private off back bedroom. Fully remodeled kitchen with granite countertops. Bar seating opens to large living room with pull-out couch, sleeps up to eight. Large front porch with limited water views. Brick patio complete with stainless steel grill along with outdoor table and six chairs.

5 minutes from I-95. 20 to 30 minutes to Moheghan Sun and Foxwoods.

You'll love the house! We're so happy with kitchen renovation - it was just completed in December 2012. It's opened up the whole living space and transformed it into a great gathering spot. We were able to add a second full bath with a beautifully tiled shower. We reclaimed the hardwood floor in living room and painted to brighten the room. Given the major updates we've made, the amount of living space, and the proximity to the beach, this remains an unbeatable value.

You can take a hike through the Devil's Hop Yard or visit the Gillette's Castle owned by the famous actor William Gillette. In downtown Niantic you can shop the small shops or go out on a charter for some of the best fishing in the Long Island Sound. In Waterford CT you can see a play at the Eugene O'Niell Theater or go Harkness Park and visit the beautiful gardens right on the coast of the Sound.

Awesome Getaway

My husband and I rented this house for our honeymoon. The house was spacious and clean. We really enjoyed cooking out on the grill and sitting out on the patio in the evening. The house is very close to the beach, so we just walked down every day. The house does come with a parking permit for the beach association, but we did not need to use it. The private beach is very nice and well-maintained. We really enjoyed our time on the beach. Peter and Jen were very accommodating and were just a phone call away if we needed anything. This was a great vacation experience for us, and we would highly recommend this home!

We stayed here for a week and the house was great. There was plenty of room for the 6 adults we had and 3 children. Having the pull out sofa bed in the living room was a bonus. The short walk to the private beach was great. The private beach was very nice and when the state beach was over crowded we were happy we were able to use the private beach. We used the beach pass to get down to the beach and drop everything off so we didn't have to walk with everything. I recommend this place to anyone that is interested in a relaxing quiet vacation. Thanks for letting us stay in your home for the week. We had a great vacation.

A Great Place

My family and I loved this place, so cozy and very clean. Everything there you could think of. A wonderful patio and yard for the children to play. Close to the beach, which the children just loved looking for hermit crabs. We liked very much going for short walks after supper. The area is charming and the people are so nice and friendly. We will be sure to recommened the house to family and friends.
There is a movie house in town, which came in handy on a rainy afternoon. We liked all the restaurants we went to, and the kids loved the Frosty ice cream place.
We are looking forward to returning next summer. The owners are lovely people, and go out of their way to make your stay a happy one. Janice
Owner's Response: We are so gald you enjoyed the house. We love walking to the beach after dinner too. The best thing about the location is the proximity to the water. If however you get a day when the weather is not ideal, downtown Niantic and the surrounding area has plenty to do.

Perfect Family Vacation

This was a very comfortable house in a great location. Our two small children loved the private beach. The calm water was perfect for them and they enjoyed the daily ice cream truck visits. Everyone we met was so friendly. The owners of the house provided lots of great information on the area and went out of their way to make sure we had a great vacation. We’d definitely visit again sometime!

Great location! Clean, comfortable house with everything you need. It's a short walking distance to a private beach and short drive to restaurants and shops.
Owner's Response: Thanks for the feedback - yes, real close to the beach. Easy walk, but we do have a beach pass if you prefer to drive to it. Great restaurants in downtown Niantic from very casual to a little more upscal if you prefer.
