Our home has a very large living room with comfy leather couches, large dining area with seating for 6, a fully equipped kitchen and a tiled bath with a tub/shower combination. The entire home has hardwood floors and is professionally decorated. The walls are decorated with antique theatre posters
The large master bedroom suite has a queen size bed with a pillowtop mattress and a 1/2 bath. The attached sitting room (can be used as a third bedroom) has a daybed with trundle that can be pulled out for two twin beds and a flat screen tv. It also has a door to the outside porch.
The large second bedroom also has a queen size bed with sliders going to the outside porch
The home has plenty of parking, is located on fenced land, and is a great place to unwind after a day exploring Asheville or hiking nearby mountain trails. The grounds are full of organically grown fruit trees, nuts, berries and grapes. If you are visiting when they are ripe you are welcome to enjoy them. We are a family owned and operated property. We have two places in Asheville and two in nearby Swannanoa and are proud of our warm and friendly vacation homes.
Marilyn Del Vecchio purchased this house in 2010
We bought this property because our children live in Asheville (son Sam and family live next door). My son and daughter run the Del Vecchio Clinic in Asheville specializing in acupuncture and allergies
The numerous fruit trees, berry bushes and nut trees grown organically on the property by our son are wonderful.
Great place-fabulous! Loved being here! Location near Asheville. We were here for a wedding. Had a fun time Thank you.
The home is beautifully kept and very comfortable, in a residential/rural neighborhood just close enough to Asheville. We thoroughly enjoyed - everything was as described. The owner responded immediately to my questions before and during our stay. The home is much more lovely than the photo! A great spot.
We enjoyed staying in this home. It was very convenient to downtown and other local attractions. Everything was very clean and comfortable. It was a great space for our family to relax at the end of the day.
Charming clean little house. Rural setting 4 miles from Downtown Asheville. Great value.
We had the best experience over the weekend at this property. It was very clean and super comfortable. Minutes from downtown and Haywood street. The property owners were great with communication and made everything very easy for us! We will definitely be back!
Beautiful home, very clean, roomy and well kept. The only criticism I have is the fact that there is an apartment below the house. This was not disclosed prior to making a deposit. We were asked to keep the noise down past eleven which wasn't a problem for us because we were too tired from other family committments. Also, the back bedroom and kitchen floors slope and it made me feel a little uneasy.
