Thank you so very much for providing such a wonderful place to call home while we vacationed in Maine. The apartment was everything we needed and the location was excellent - it seriously could not be better.
It was even more convenient than your description. We did not have the opportunity to meet you, but your assistant, Woody was a pleasure to meet and so very helpful. His recommendations for the city of Camden and his advice on places of interest were excellent. We are forever in his debt for the Long Grain recommendation, probably the best meal of our 10 day trip! I recommend this apartment to anyone and we plan entirely on returning. Thank you and may God bless!
I stayed in the front upstairs unit of this early 1900's house, located within steps of the beginning of the main street in downtown Camden. The location was perfect - literally just a couple of blocks from the harbor and all the neat little shops and restaurants that made me want to stay in Camden. The apartment looks exactly as it does in the photos online, if not better, and it was the ideal place for one or two people. The bed was very comfortable, and crisp linens were provided. One of the things which added a particularly nice touch was that the owner also provided a "starter set" of toiletries, much like being in a hotel. The street is quiet and close to everything. I can't say enough good things about my stay in Camden, and hope to stay here again when I return. This was a great place at a decent price. Thanks!
In the heart of Maine's Midcoast, the neighboring towns of St George, Thomaston, Owls Head. Rockland, Rockport, Camden, Lincolnville, Hope, Appleton, Union, and the islands of Vinalhaven, Northhaven, Monhegan, and Isleboro draw visitors in every season to 'Where the Mountains Meet the Sea'. Thanks to its recreation, shopping, historical interest, arts and culture, and dining and lodging, the region offers broad appeal as well as one-of-a-kind attractions. Throughout the year, Victorian-era opera houses and 1930s movie houses schedule concerts, plays, dance events, the Maine Literary Festival, Camden International Film Festival, and thought-provoking gatherings such as PopTech! and The Camden Conference. The region also hosts a Windjammer Festival, Blues Festival, Lobster festival, the Union Fair, the US National Toboggan Championships, and much more!
