Completely renovated in 2012. 1 bedroom/1bathroom apartment. Spacious, quiet, comfortable and safe. Pleasant cross breeze due to layout. Spectacular view of the San Juan harbor with El Yunque in the background.

Located at La Puntilla, it is just steps away from the 'Paseo de La Princesa' promenade, the Governor's mansion and all other monuments and historical points of interest in the old city. The apartment is within walking distance of all restaurants, bars, boutiques, grocery stores, etc. in Old San Juan.

Situated on the same street as the Coast Guard, the apartment complex is constantly monitored by local and federal police. The apartment building is right in front of el Museo del Arsenal (see pictures).

Conveniently located near the bus terminal, a secure parking lot, and a ferry that will take you across the San Juan bay to Cataño where you can visit the Bacardi Rum Factory.

Please note, the apartment has two balconies.

The futon couch folds out into a twin sized bed and can comfortably sleep one person of small to medium build (no taller than 5'5').

THE APARTMENT IS ON THE FOURTH FLOOR. THERE IS NO ELEVATOR.

Old San Juan has a very vibrant night life. There are a wide variety of restaurants and bars to choose from which stay open relatively late. Some streets in Old San Juan tend to be noisy because of this, but La Puntilla is located on a quiet, securely guarded dead-end street which allows for restful nights.

Other city beaches such as Condado Beach, Ocean Park and Isla Verde are about a 15 minute drive and are also accessible by bus.

Enjoy Puerto Rico's bounty of natural wonders all within driving distance of Old San Juan, such as El Yunque National Rain Forest where you will find many hiking trails and waterfalls; Puerto Rico's caves, Las Cuevas de Camuy, one of the largest cave systems in the world (tours are available); and much, much more.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (US Dollar) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • $100/night
  • A $100 refundable security deposit is also required to reserve.

    In order to confirm your reservation we require a 50% deposit (Reservation Deposit) of the total rent along with a signed Lease Agreement.

    The second balance payment is due no later than three weeks prior to the check-in date, along with the additional fees of $100.00 Security Deposit (returned to you by mail) and $50.00 one-time cleaning fee.

    The rates listed above are for parties of two. We charge an additional $20 for parties of three.

    A $30 fee will be charged for check-in between 10pm-9am.

This apartment is beautiful and equiped with everything you need for a nice stay. The layout is very comfortable, and there is plenty of space to cook and lounge around.The view from the balcony is spectacular The property was clean and all the pictures are accurate. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and went out of her way to accomodate us. The apartment is close to everything yet quiet and private. I can't wait to go back!

Excellent View and Sea Breezes

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay in this very well appointed, clean and comfortable apartment overlooking the bay. It has 2 good size balconies and lots of doors to open for sunlight and fantastic, continuous cross breezes -- we did not need the air conditioner at all. Old San Juan is small, so even though this is not in the center of town, everything is close. My only complaint is the noise at night and early in the morning -- but I doubt there is a truly quiet place in Old San Juan as we have several friends who winter in OSJ and, regardless of where they have stayed, it's been noisy. I didn't think to get ear plugs, but they would have made for much more restful nights. There is NOT a TV, though there is a strong internet connection. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment.

Great Stay!

The condo is a perfect place to stay when visiting Old San Juan. Everything is walking distance (nothing in Old San Juan is further than a 15 minute walk) and the ocean is literally a couple of blocks away. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the condo because you are close enough to everything in OSJ but just far enough from all the loud nightclubs that you can enjoy the nights without any loud music, unless of course you want to spend the evening at the bar/club (which again, is a very short walk). My wife and I loved being able to have that privacy.

Everything Olivia lists in the description of the condo is completely accurate and she was very helpful in answering any questions. She made us feel welcome before we even arrived and definitely helped us feel at ease.

Whenever we return to visit Old San Juan, we would definitely try to stay here again!

Much more than expected

Before we even got there Olivia (property owner) made us feel email welcomed and let us know what to expect.
It was beautiful with 4 balconies overlooking the Harbor (woke up one day with a cruise ship in our face one morning).
Condo was walking distance of everything in Old San Juan. Definitely would call her again to stay.

Great location, great place, great value!

Arrived Thursday afternoon and Olivia's father, Luis, was more than accommodating in meeting with us at the rental to let us in. He gave us a tour of the rental and area as well as gave us some very helpful tips.
Last time we were in Puerto Rico, we had stayed in Rio Grande which was nice but kind of isolated. The location was definitely nice in that it was on a quiet side street of downtown but was literally in the heart of everything. Just a couple minute walk from the cruise terminal. It was quite safe with police patrolling around constantly.
The rental itself was brand new and remodeled. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to be right in downtown Old San Juan.
Parking was also available on the street and I didn't have to once pay for the parking lot which is located right next to the rental, the lot itself was very cheap though. Overall an amazing stay.
