Because it's out of the crowd and bustle of the city center and has a magnificent relaxing view over the Veio Park countryside.
Because also the owner is an avid worldwide traveller who knows by experience how even trivial (at home) things might be difficult when you are in a foreign country
He has a 3 years professional experience assisting worldwide travellers as an Eurailpass Official in the Italian State Railways
He started this home business in 2002 and since then he gained good experience from all his guest needs.

We stayed here between 10 and 16 April 2014. The apartment is very spacious with good sized room, large dining area and hall and two large balconies. The apartment has everything you would need during your stay.
You can walk to the nearest train station (La Guistiniana) in 10 minutes - or a take a bus ride of 3 stops. From La Guistiniana there are frequent trains to Rome and travel time is less than 30 minutes, so this is very conveniently located.
The landlord, Giorgio, is extremely helpful. He even keeps a mobile phone in the apartment that you can use during your stay ! The apartment has a large number of maps and guides about Rome and Italy - more than you will ever need. The apartment, being located in the countryside, has a lot of greenery around.
We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment and will highly recommend this to any visitor to Rome who would like to spend quiet time at home after visiting tourist attractions in the city.
Great apartment. All you Need is there. The owner is very friendly and helps you asking at all. Beautiful view and the evening you can watch the sun as it goes down great.
Thank you Giorgio
Cassia House was a dream. Giorgio and Valeria were warm and welcoming, like having a family in Italy. Cute Kitchen small, but very functional. Great Bathroom roomy and clean and the beds were comfortable. There are two balconies and the one with the table was great for our outdoor dinners when we came home from a day of sightseeing in Rome. Giorgio spent time with us familiarizing us with the apartment and then took us shopping at an american type market. After you get off the train if you turn right on the main road there is smaller market that came in handy at the half way point in our stay. Our favorite part was Giorgio and Valeria. I will be coming back to Italy and it is because of the warm and generous people I have met. Come, you won't regret it!
I and my family spent 5 nights in Cassia apartment. That was cozy and comfortable place in the suburb of Rome.We could easily reach the Rome center by means of train and metro. The apartment was clean and secure 30 min (14 km)away from the crowded city center. The accommodation is particularly appropriate for a longer stay in Rome, where one can really settle in a place similar to his own home. Giorgio, a very kind host, just as an angel!,was at your service to fix it up any problem and made himself accessible to offer help and advice throughout our stay. This unexpected support was our attractive experience which enabled us to enjoy visiting Rome historical places during daytime as well as relaxing in Giorgio's apartment terrace with excellent panorama in the evenings. My 5 year old daughter said "When do we come back to Giorgio 's house again?". Giorgio is a real angel to rescue travelers from homelessness!!
Visiting Rome, please note that the frenzy of this town can wear down even the most enthusiastic of explorers, so here it is a quiet, self-catering apartment, to which you can retreat and recover your sense of self and where all the possible has been done so that you might consider it your 'home' in Rome.
CassiaHouse is located in the 'Giustiniana' residential area of Via Cassia (NW of Rome).
The area takes it's name from the place where the Roman Emperor Giustiniano used to retreat ...''escaping from the crowds and noises of Rome'' (!). A Latin description referring the above is visible nearby and during your stay you will see that even after 2000 years this...is still true.
Distance to City Centre 10km, easily reachable thanks to the nearby 'Giustiniana' railway station on the FM3 line connected to the Underground ('Metro')
Other Activities: The ancient roman Via Cassia, will conveniently take you through the Etruscan area of Veio, to the nearby (25km) lakes of Bracciano & Martignano
