The Best of Bonaire
This is our fourth extended stay (4 weeks or more) on this lovely island and we feel like we hit the jackpot. Villa Lunt is even better than we expected. Where to begin? Upon arrival, the grounds are beautiful, layed out for privacy, small beautiful places and large expanses of flowers. The pool and palapal were our focus. We ate every meal outside under the sun and stars. The house is spacious and you can see the care Steve and Merrill have put into it. From room to room, it was a pleasure to be here. All the amenities they listed were here and everything was in great working order.
The quality of the kitchen appliances, pots, knives, towels, sheets, etc. is truly appreciated. Having been on Bonaire before, this is not always so. We enjoyed cooking meals here, plenty of prep space and the outdoor grill was great. If you wanted to watch tv, the flatscreen was great and plenty of local and international channels.
Perhaps one of the best things about this lovely home is dealing with Merrill. She was always available and quickly responded to any questions or concerns we had. We had 2 friends stranded for a few days due to the blizzard in the northeast and she worked with us to accomodate them here for that time. Several of our friends were renting places around Bonaire for 2 weeks and when dinner was here at Villa Lunt, they all voted it the #1 destination.
We know for sure when we return to Bonaire, we will look no further than Villa Lunt. Thanks Merrill and Steve for making this vacation one of our absolutely best.
