The beach house is on a sloping hillside with views of the ocean. A 10 minute walk or a short drive down the hill takes you to beautiful South Shore and Goosewing Beach - a pristine barrier beach that is one mile long and perfect for swimming, body surfing, sunning, walking and surfboarding.
The local yield from farm and sea is the best summer has to offer. Daily fresh fish catch and the freshest of vegetables, fruits and baked good can be found at the local fish market and several roadside stands.
Within Little Compton there are beautiful nature trails and biking, as well as a village Commons with its enjoyable, well stocked general store, restaurants, coffee shop, churches, playground, basketball court, and lots of charm.
If you want to venture away for the day, you are less than than 1 hour from Providence or Newport RI with access to world class museums, restaurants, mansions, boat tours, deep sea fishing, theatres, zoos, shopping malls, golf, and much more. New Bedford, MA is a short trip as well, with its ferries to the islands or whale watches, and Cape Cod is a little over 1 hour away. But whatever you choose to do, you will always enjoy returning to the beach house at the end of the day for comfort, relaxation, and enjoyment.
