A great floor plan consisting of a living room with large dining room and open kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances with microwave, toaster and blender, dining area that seats 6, master bedroom with King size bed and en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet, 2nd bedroom with 2 Full beds, a separate bathroom, laundry room with washer and dryer, large roof terrace, full AC split units, ceiling fans, free WiFi internet access, Cable TV and 24/7 security. Sleeps 8 including the Full size sleeping couch in the living room adequate for children. Large swimming pool with sun deck. 32” LCD HDTV. Security deposit box in the unit. Free private parking. Free Beach Access.

PAYMENT TERMS:

• 50% deposit required to confirm booking

• 100% required 30 days prior to arrival.

• Payment with Credit Card - Visa, MasterCard, Discover - through our secure website.

TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM AIRPORT:

• If you need transportation to your rental property, we can send a trusted driver with a van to pick you up.

• The rate is US $35 one way for 4 passengers. There is room for up to 6 passengers with suitcases per taxi. US$5 extra per passenger.

• You pay the driver directly and keep his number for future transportation needs during your stay.

ELECTRICITY IS EXTRA AND BASED ON CONSUMPTION:

• The Dominican Republic is a developing country and it has it's challenges in regards to cost effective electricity distribution. Therefore, to encourage renters to conserve electricity during their stay, they will be responsible for electricity charges during their stay.

• We collect an ELECTRICITY DEPOSIT IN CASH UPON ARRIVAL. It is just a DEPOSIT, real consumption calculated at the end of your stay and deducted from the CASH DEPOSIT PAID UPON ARRIVAL. See deposit requirements below.

• Normal consumption is $5-10 per day for a 1 & 2 bedroom, $10-$15 per day for a 3 & 4 bedroom and $25-$30 for Villas in Cocotal Golf.

RENTALS LESS THAN 30 DAYS: We require an ELECTRICITY DEPOSIT (CASH ONLY-UPON ARRIVAL) of US$20 PER NIGHT for 1 & 2 BDR's CONDOS, US$30 PER NIGHT for 3 & 4 BDR's CONDOS and US$50 PER NIGHT for VILLAS in COCOTAL GOLF.

The electricity meter will be read at check-in and check out. The meter can be self monitored daily. You will be charged at the current rate and deducted from the cash deposit. The difference will be returned to you on the day of departure.

Beautiful and great location

This vacation rental was perfect for my group size of 4. Although it sleeps 8 technically, I would say 4 people would be most comfortable here. The apartment is very beautiful and clean with a fully equipped kitchen that we thoroughly utilized. The location is short walking distance to the beach and many small shops and restaurants. One tip for the beach if you want to utilize the chairs is buying a drink at one of the bars with beach chairs. The all inclusive hotels are really strict about using their chairs.

The only downside to the location of the house is that the short stretch of walkway leading back to the entrance from the main road has no lighting at night, and we were warned to not walk there after dark. This means you have to take cabs after dark and since the DR does not have numerical addresses like the United States, it was a bit challenging telling cab drivers exactly where we were located. I would suggest asking Ellen or Anny upon arrival about how to best direct cabs. I would also recommend making the grocery store stop at Palma Real on the way from the airport to get your staples (including toilet paper which they do not replenish at the house!) and then just grabbing a few little things when you need them at the smaller tiendas that are walking distance. We were also introduced to Jose who is an awesome excursion booker. He helped with that and much more throughout our stay. I would totally recommend this over an all-inclusive resort.

La Corte Sea Review

I stayed in a condo at le corte sea for 7 days and it was everything I hoped for plus more. From the moment my 4 friends and I entered we were astonished with the cleanliness and decor of our place. It looked better in real life than in the pictures online. From experience renting out villas, this rarely happens. We could have meals on our balcony, on our dining table, or on the terrace where were also able to barbecue. Not to mention I did not see one bug in our condo, the whole week.

The apartment complex was calm, quiet and peaceful. I never doubted the safety of it. My friends and I went for a swim at any time of the night, we also comfortably walked around town from our villa. Everything we needed was in close proximity i.e. beach, supermarket, bank, car rentals, bus stops.. all in all it was comfy and convenient. I would take this condo over a congested hotel resort room any day. :)
