Across the street from the beach, less than a block away from the nearest restaurant/bar and only two blocks off Center Street in Folly, this newly refurnished beach bungalow offers exceptional value and convenience to the Folly beach vacationer.
This is one of two units (side-by-side) in a single floor, elevated beach property with a peek-a-boo view of the ocean. It is located on the second row of houses from the beach, ½ block away from the nearest restaurant, and 1 ½ short Folly blocks from Center Street. There is an entrance to the unit both on Ashley as well as Cooper, but please note one must be able to climb stairs for each entrance. There are two parking spaces for the unit on the Cooper side of the unit. There is a small porch at the top of each set of steps with seating for two on the beach side (Ashley Ave).
Underneath the house is a shaded, decked area with a table for dining as well as a sitting area around a fire pit (propane) solely for the use of your rental unit. There is also a propane grill for your use. Propane is provided for both the grill and the fire pit free of charge.
As far as the interior unit, it is approximately 850 sf with two bedrooms and one and a half baths. Both bedrooms contain a queen size bed, a 24' flat screen tv, and a radio/alarm clock. The living area contains a leather queen sleeper sofa with brand new memory foam matress, a 32' flat screen tv and a small stereo to listen to the radio or CD’s with the capability of playing music directly from your Ipod or similar device.
The kitchen flows from the living room and will contain all of the basics that you would expect: pots, pans, coffee maker, blender (a beach essential in my opinion!) microwave, toaster and toaster oven, a variety of glasses including wine, serving plates and plate settings for six and utensils for 12. The kitchen table seats up to six when pulled out.
Because of the size of the unit, there is not a automatic dishwasher, but in the closet at the back entrance of the unit there is a full-size washer and dryer.
All linens will be provided: two sets of sheets for each bed, comforters, blankets, two sets of towels for each guest (bath towel, hand towel, wash cloth), bath mats for each bath room and a beach towel for each guest. A cooler, beach chairs and a variety of beach toys are also provided with the unit. My goal is to provide the vacationer with everything necessary to get them onto the beach in the least amount of time, so I have tried to think of a few of the necessities that would be nice to have from the moment you enter the unit, so you can make a more leisurely trip to the store. The unit is supplied with the initial quantities of paper towels,toilet paper, coffee, tea, sugar, cream, salt, pepper, shampoo, conditioner, lotion hand and bath soap, dish washing soap, laundry detergent and a bottle of water for each guest. My goal is to make your visit to our island so enjoyable and convenient that you make Folly your regular beach getaway.
