Our family has been blessed with this beautiful home since 1960. What a wonderful place to grow up!
Today life has brought us to a point where we are looking to both preserve this piece of family history, as well as share it's beauty and peace with others.
We have worked hard to make 'The Guest House' as enjoyable for our guests as possible, and it is our hope that when you leave our families little paradise, you will take at least some warm memories home with you!
Brad Hartmann purchased this house in 1960
We find anyone and everyone who stays at the 'Guest House,' have a wonderful, relaxing and peaceful time. Many who have stayed enjoyed the beauty and space. :)
We rented this lovely home for a week in early June. The location is fantastic! The house has everything you could want for a comfortable stay. The house is super clean and well maintained. The kids loved the games in the quonset hut (pool table, etc), as well as the video games in the house. We also enjoyed the path along the coulee (bring bug spray!). The beds are quite comfortable (although the bedrooms could use some darker curtains/window coverings, since it doesn't get dark until very late at night in the summer that far north). The owner is very nice and accommodating if you should need anything during your stay. I would definitely rent this property again.
We had a delightful weekend stay in this clean, well-kept heritage home. Lots of provisions, you just need to bring your food. Comfortable beds and a great kitchen. Some extras have been thought of eg. patio, picnic tables, fire-pit, all overlooking the coulee. We recommend it!
