There is a warm and homely feel in this apartment, owing to the comfortable furnishings and soft tones throughout. The light, open-plan living area as well as the bedrooms have been decorated with cream carpets and white walls. Flower and nautical paintings, antique furniture and Oriental art work all bring character to the property.

Wimbledon is a very popular exclusive residential area and has a lot to offer apart from its famous tennis courts. A 10 minute walk will take you to Wimbledon village with excellent shops, a small supermarket and numerous restaurants offering different types of cuisine.

The flat (No.3, Kingsdown) is at the corner of Ridgway and The Downs. There are entrances from both Ridgway (front) and the Downs (back). There is an entry phone on the back entrance. This is a ground floor flat.

All windowns are double glazed and lockable. Banham sliding grills are fitted at all windows. Heating and water by gas.

As you enter the spacious hallway, you will be welcomed to a light, open-plan living area (19ft2 x 15ft7, 5.9m x 4.8m) which has been decorated with a cream carpet and white walls. The spacious living dining room has a 3-seater sofa, two chairs and a separate dining area with a dark wooden table with six chairs. A TV, DVD player, stereo and video player provide entertainment options.

A balcony off the sitting room attracts the sun in the afternoon.

The great open spaces of Wimbledon Common are reached in a 5 minute walk. Ideal for walking, cycling and jogging. After your exercise come to enjoy a typical English pub lunch at one of the three excellent pubs in the neighbourhood

But if you wish to go to the cinema or the theatre, Wimbledon is not short of these attractions. All the main Cinema chains have their houses in Wimbledon. As to Wimbledon Theatre has a glittering reputation as a premier theatrical venue in South West London. The Grade II listed building consists of a beautiful Edwardian auditorium decorated in both Georgian and Italian renaissance styles across three levels of seating. The venue continues to play host to numerous touring productions of musicals, ballets, operas and plays, as well as an annual pantomime each Christmas.

We rented this flat to prepare for our daughter's wedding. The owners were very helpful in arranging parking and offering free WiFi. The flat is very homely, well-furnished, close to Wimbledon shops and public transport and well equipped - plenty of towels and hot water, warm with good beds.



The kitchen is small but perfectly adequate and the three bedrooms and large dining space meant we could entertain friends.



Highly recommended and spotlessly clean.

WE LOVED THIS RENTAL! EVERYTHING WAS AS DESCRIBED.

The location was perfect! Wimbledon Village with it's lovely shops and restaurants is a short walk or bus ride away. Parking is not easy but for a small price the owner provided us with visitor parking passes. The flat had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again!

IT WAS EVERYTHING WE HOPED IT WOULD BE AND MORE.

From booking time right through to collection of keys and throughout our stay everything was simply perfect for us. The apartment is in a super location just minutes from everything and yet you never feel just 15 minutes from central London. From walks on the common to pub lunches in the the Village it really was everything we hoped for. Wimbledon Village has an abundance of restaurants/pubs/shops and so there is certain to be something for everyones taste just a few minutes walk away. The apartment itself was spacious (we are a family of 5) very clean and has all the mod-cons you would need. This was the first time as a family we have rented our own space for our annual trips back to the UK and we will be back for sure. The owners have made the whole process stress free from booking through to organising off street parking. Nothing was too much trouble. This apartment is fantastice value for money and we cannot wait to get back there next summer.

A WONDERFUL APARTMENT AND A GREAT EXPERIENCE

What a wonderful experience! This beautifully furnished apartment in a friendly and quiet neighbourhood is a real find. We easily accommodated four adults in comfort and it really felt like a home away from home. All of the rooms are very large and by far the biggest we have ever seen in London. Charming Wimbledon Village is just down the road, as is Wimbledon Common, and the 10 minute bus to Wimbledon town centre is on the doorstep. It is absolutely ideal for Wimbledon Tennis. There are several great pubs within walking distance as well as restaurants and takeaways but mostly we preferred to stay in and cook in the very well appointed kitchen. The flat was very clean on arrival and extremely well maintained. We appreciated the use of the owners' computer and WiFi and there was usually a free parking space available. We were also provided with a superb instruction booklet and extensive local and tourist information before we arrived. We cannot praise the owners' customer service highly enough. They are always available for even the smallest question but are not at all intrusive and we were left alone to enjoy our stay. I would highly recommend this apartment to all types of travellers and we will certainly come again.

Casa spaziosa, arredata con gusto ed atmosfera accogliente. Dotata di ogni confort,dalla cucina alla connessione wi-fi ,con 2 camere con ampio letto king e 1 camera con letto doppio inglese ( 1 piazza e 1/2 ital.). Nessuna difficoltà con i proprietari che hanno stipulato regolare contratto (con pagamento anticipato) e fornito dettagliati chiari sull'uso degli apparecchi disponibili in appartamento e sui mezzi pubblici in loco,supermarket e farmacia. All'arrivo abbiamo trovato ad accoglierci la signora delle pulizie che ci ha aspettato nonostante fossimo in ritardo di 1 ora. La zona è vicina al Village, tranquilla,immersa nel verde. Per andare a Londra occorrono circa 30 min, 5 min in bus per arrivare alla Tube Wimbledon e poi altri 20 min

Obviously the tenants clearly appreciated that the flat is not a rental property but our flat in England, where my husband and I and children have spent and continue to spend very important moments of our life. The flat is furnished and equipped as such. For us it is very important to have in the flat peope who will treat it as a family home not as a mere "rental flat". We hope to have similar people to occupy it in the future (until we move back there!).

Any suggestions for improvement are most welcome, as it is only through feedback that we can make it even better!
