Eagles' Spirit Condominium is a 1300 sq ft condo on Grand Lake in the Town of Grand Lake that sleeps 6. It is two bedroom, two bath unit with a complete kitchen. There is a queen size bed in the master bedroom, two twin beds in the second bedroom, and a foldout queen couch in the living room. The full kitchen, dining and living rooms, master bedroom and outdoor deck all face the lake. It has a gas heating stove in the living room, dishwasher, sauna, washer and dryer, Direct TV and DVD player. A homeowners association gas grill is available. Towels and linens are provided.

Unit 1 is a no smoking/no pet unit.

DEPOSIT: 50% of monthly rental plus $49 for Property Damage Protection Insurance is due when the reservation is made.

This condo is one block off Grand Avenue. Come into town from US 34 down Grand Avenue to Ellsworth (past bowling alley) turn right then left at Eagles' Landing sign, go past Eagles' Landing to Eagles's Spirit. There are restaurants and bars, bank, liquor store, arcade, and shopping nearby. It is located one block from the Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre, Library, Town Hall Community Center, Marina rentals (boats, kayaks, canoes, paddle boats), beach, playground/skating rink. Grand Lake Yacht Club is two blocks away. Trinity Church in the Pines is 3 blocks away.

Snowmobile rentals and grocery store are within 5 blocks.

Grand Lake golf course and nature trail/Alpine Center (winter cross country ski/snowshoe/sledding) is 5 minutes away by car. Rocky Mountain National Park is 10 minutes north of town. Sol Vista Ski Resort is in Granby, 25 minutes south of town; Winter Park Ski Resort is 40 minutes south of town.

Grand Lake is off US 34 and can be reached from Denver via I 70 to US 40 to US 34 and during the summer through Rocky Mountain National Park from Estes Park via US 34 (Trail Ridge Road).

Much wildlife viewing is available in Rocky Mountain National Park (elk, moose, fox, coyotes, among others) and osprey and eagles are frequently seen over Grand Lake and surrounding area.

My wife and I found the Eagle's Spirit Condo as a last minute availability for our short stay in the Grand Lake Area. The condo was exactly as depicted by the owners and we thoroughly enjoyed the quiet and peaceful location with wonderful views of Grand Lake and surrounding mountains. The location provided great walking access to the restaurants and other attractions in the downtown area and we enjoyed day trips to RMNP & Grandby. Would highly recommend the short hike to Adam's falls nearby and a guided boat trip around Grand Lake which provided a very beautiful overview of Grand and Shadow Mountain Lakes and a full history of the area. Thanks for a very comfortable and relaxing stay!

This was a great rental at a great price. Located right in town and walking distance to everything, the condo has great views and was spacious enough for my family of 4. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone.

Fantastic views and location

We just spent a 3-day weekend at Eagles Spirit. The description was perfect, and the photos do not do justice to the view -- it was spectacular. The property was clean and well-maintained. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The location provides easy access to trail heads for all levels of hikers. We loved the small-town feel of Grand Lake and hope to take our larger family back there for another long weekend. We would give this five stars, but that would require the furniture/decorating to be updated. (This last sentence is to give the reader a sense that this is a high-value rental, but not as beautiful or design-clever as a newer property.)

We have updated the window coverings in the last year and the beds and have a new refrigerator in March this year, and the condo was repainted this last winter. However, since we have this property listed for sale we have decided to let the new owner do the redecorating.

Delightful Lakeside Condo

Our first visit to Grand Lake and this gorgeous condo, was in May of 2003. Each visit is a welcome return to a dream home. Located on the shores of Grand Lake, there is no time one is not afforded beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. This home away from home is spacious, welcoming, comfortable and the landlords gracious and accommodating. The condo includes a beautiful gas fireplace, sauna and whirlpool bathtub all of which contribute to a relaxing experience.

During one of our stays, much to our delight we woke up to a cow moose and calf outside our bedroom window. They entertained us throughout the morning which included the cow moose eating petunias from the flowering pots on our deck! We have found sitings of red fox are not uncommon.

Adjacent to Rocky Mountain National Park, wildlife viewing is often spectacular. Trails in the park all offer stunning alpine experiences with trail difficulties ranging from very easy to extremely strenuous. Restaurants in the area range from pub food to gormet.

We're anxiously awaiting our next stay at this lovely vacation retreat.
