Colorado Springs House Rental Photos and Description
House with 5 Bedrooms + Convertible Beds, 4 Baths -- Sleeps up to 16
We call our home the Rainbow Vista House because of the countless double and even triple rainbow sightings! The house sits at a unique angle allowing for rainbow sightings after short rainstorms in the spring, summer, and autumn. We hope you are fortunate to see a rainbow during your stay!
Centrally located near all of the area’s major attractions, the Rainbow Vista House is situated in the foothills of Colorado Springs, just 2 miles from the Broadmoor Hotel and Golf Course. We are only minutes from the desirable tourist and shopping districts of Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs. You can explore charming downtown Colorado Springs, which is an easy 10 minute drive from the house. Also nearby is the Colorado Springs Zoo! It has the highest elevation of any zoo in the U.S. Visit the spectacular Garden of the Gods Nature Center to experience the wonder of the outdoors. Many of the major Colorado ski resorts can be reached by car in about 2 hours. We are 25 minutes to Colorado Springs airport, and 1 hour and 20 minutes from Denver International airport.
Our home sits atop a hill with both city and mountain views. These views can be enjoyed any time of year—from the inside through spacious windows and from the large outdoor decks. During the day you can relax indoors or outdoors while marveling at the spectacular views of the mountains and plains in the distance. At nighttime enjoy the sparkle of the city lights below in the valley to the east.
We provide all-weather tables and chairs for you to gather around with your family, as well as propane BBQ on the east-facing deck, which is a great place to watch evening lightning storms! The upstairs back deck offers a western view of the mountains, pristine hot tub, redwood picnic table, and propane BBQ. The downstairs fountain attracts deer and wildlife during all seasons.
The inside of the Rainbow Vista House is bright and spacious and offers a comfortable, laid back style inviting you to relax. Boasting 3,100 square feet of comfort, our home provides 2 living areas each complete with a family room and kitchen.
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master suite includes a king size bed and private bathroom. The other two bedrooms offer a queen size bed and a double bed. The living room has large picture windows with east facing city views. In addition to the living room there is a large family/TV room with sleeper sofa. Occasionally, in the off-season, we rent the upstairs portion of the house for smaller parties. Please feel free to inquire about this option.
The downstairs offers 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The master suite offers a queen size bed and private bathroom. The additional bedroom is equipped with a full/twin bunk bed. This lower level of our home is complete with living room, kitchen, and separate entrance. Here we provide a dog pen and fountain that deer and other wildlife frequent year round.
We have a Wii Sport set up for multiple users. This provides another outlet for group fun and connection.
Additional amenities include a large and open eat-in kitchen loaded with all the tools you will need to create memorable family feasts. The kitchen features ample counter and cupboard space as well as a double oven.
Other features include a washer and dryer on both levels, off-street parking, 60” HD Television and DVD, free Wi-Fi, an elliptical exercise machine, clock radios, coffee maker, iron, hairdryer, and much more!
In the winter, or on a cool summer night enjoy the warmth of the Napoleon wood stove in the upstairs living room or the beautiful brick fireplace in the downstairs area. We provide a bundle of seasoned wood to accommodate your needs.

Why Catherine chose Colorado Springs
The nature, views and natural scenery around Colorado Springs are unparalleled anywhere in the world. We moved here to be close to the mountains, in a small vibrant city with lots of sunshine and character. Our experience here was so deeply touching that we could never forget the beauty of Colorado. We wish for you the same experience.

We have a basketball area, a Wii sports set up for multiple users, and lots of board games. We have a hot tub, 2 living rooms, one with fireplace and the other with a wood stove. We have an elliptical exercise machine and lots of nearby hiking. Families of deer frequent the property during all seasons making the bucks, does, and fawns our constant companions.
