The perfect Sanibel Island getaway, this near-beach home offers tremendous privacy and comfort on a large tropical lot in a quiet neighborhood just a 12 minute stroll to the beach. Freshly updated with all new furniture, hardwood floors, new appliances, and freshly painted throughout, it is fully stocked with everything necessary for a wonderful beach vacation. The large screened heated pool offers full sun throughout the day with plenty of outdoor furniture for relaxing and enjoying our spectacular island weather.

There are three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Beds include a King in the master, Queen in one guest room and two twins in another, and a Queen pull out bed to comfortably sleep 8 people. Every bedroom has a flat screen TV for a total of four televisions. WIFi, DVD, Gas BBQ grill, beach chairs and toys, and a wagon to haul it to the beach are just some of the amenities. There is plenty of space for everyone with lots of living area.

The large private lot also has additional parking for your boat or RV.

Sanibel Island is a world-class fishing destination, offering sport fishing for Tarpon, Redfish, Grouper, Amberjack, Spanish Mackeral, and other assorted fish species. Sanibel lies along TheGreat Calusa Blueway, a 190-mile marked kayak trail through southwest Florida waterways and estuaries. Lovers Key State Park, a short drive away, is a group of four barrier islands. A haven for wildlife, the islands and their waters are home to West Indian manatees, bottlenose dolphins, roseate spoonbills, marsh rabbits, and bald eagles. The two mile long beach is accessible by boardwalk or tram and is popular for shelling, swimming, picnicking, and sunbathing. Koreshan State Historic Site, once a colony known as the Koreshan Unity which began in Estero in 1894, where today visitors can fish, picnic, boat, and hike, includes a boat ramp and full facility campground.

A month is too short

We hated to leave this special home on our favorite island!The home offered many things in addition to what is on the site. The pool is huge and was warm the entire month of January. We could hear the ocean at night through the bedroom doors.We LOVED the location near the nature reserve.It was so enjoyable to walk either there or to the beach, and to bike to Bailey's grocery store for necessities.The foilage and native plants surrounding the house and community were a pleasure to be surrounded by, as well as the peace and quite the area offers.The house is very well stocked and comfortable.Large master bath, large TV's in all rooms, sufficient towels, linens, etc. we appreciated all the care and thought that went into making sure these things were provided. would love to stay here in the future.

Great relaxing vacation!

We were very lucky to have stumbled upon this very chic house. The photos are accurate and it is really that nice! It had the beach, vacation feel without being overcrowded without all the knick-knacks that can be overbearing at times. We particularly appreciated the stock of articles in the kitchen/laundry room & felt at home right away. All in all, a very nice, clean & relaxing place to vacation.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
