Start your day watching the waves and seagulls while having your morning coffee on the deck. Then you can take your seat in the Great Room dining area and delight in the breakfast creations coming from the fully equipped kitchen. Afterwards, you might decide to take a stroll on the miles of beach just outside your door. And so it goes, another day of slowing down and relaxing is off to an impressive beginning. And, if you just can’t quite totally disconnect, a Wireless Broadband connection allows you to keep in touch.
The normal rental party for Villa by the Breakers is 6 guests and there is an additional charge for parties in excess of 6. The maximum group size we are set up to accommodate is 8 people. The Master bedroom has a King bed. One bedroom has a Queen bed. Another has two standard size double beds set up in a bunk bed configuration along with a twin bed; the fourth bedroom doubles as a sitting room and has a couch with a pull-out bed.
Villa by the Breakers has everything needed to help you enjoy your vacation. The Great Room has a large, well-stocked kitchen that features a new stove with double ovens, a new dishwasher, a new refrigerator, a Keurig coffee maker, a microwave and all the pots, pans and utensils you might need. Best of all, wherever you are in the Great Room, you won’t miss out on a minute of ocean viewing. Windows and skylights abound in this bright well appointed room. A double Fireplace adds to the charm while a newly installed hardwood floor completes the ambiance of this magnificent space. The comfortable chairs in front of the fireplace invite you to relax with a good book and a glass of your favorite wine.
Walk through a door by the fireplace and you are in your dining room. A large Pecan Wood table comfortably seats 8 people. While dining, you won’t miss the beautiful sunset as there are many windows providing beach and ocean vistas. If you are dining after sunset you can use the fireplace and the controllable lighting to create an intimate dining atmosphere.
A large Entertainment Room provides a place to play the many Board Games that are in your game closet or perhaps a jigsaw puzzle if that is your preference. If television watching is your desire, a 59 inch Samsung Plasma HDTV with 3D capabilities is paired up with Comcast Cable, a Digital Video Recorder and a Blu-Ray player to create a video system that is more than capable of satisfying the most discerning videophile. There are two beautiful leather couches and a large leather chair that provide a very comfortable seating arrangement. For the youngsters (and the young at heart) there is an arcade video game that offers numerous video games to test your skill.
A spiral staircase from the Master Bath takes you up to an enclosed Hot Tub room with views of the ocean and a private deck as well. There is also a spiral staircase down from the full bath on the Great Room level.
You have a Washer and Dryer available for your use and a two car garage to keep your car out of the salt air. Pets are not allowed and this is a smoke free home.
The town of Westport is only a few miles away and has a number of restaurants for your enjoyment. We especially enjoy Odysseus that is less than a mile away from the house. Go south to Grayland and have dinner at Bennetts, another favorite of ours. There are charter fishing boats available to take you in pursuit of tonight’s dinner or to watch the whales when they are in the area. If you want to gamble, there is a casino in Tokeland, about 8 miles to the South. If you enjoy wine tasting, the Westport Winery is open seven days a week for your pleasure. The Cranberry Road Winery is also close by, less than 2 miles from the house. For beer drinkers, the Westport Brewery has locally made craft brews.
