Located on the Golden mile of beautiful sandy beach, Caravelle Resort is conveniently located in the North part of Myrtle Beach between the city of Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach. Caravelle is located just 2 blocks from highway 17 which is the main road that runs up and down the beaches. Close by you will find Outback Steakhouse, Bonefish Grill, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Carrabas, TGI Fridays and the best burgers on the beach at River City Cafe. You will be just 5-10 minutes from downtown, most attractions and the airport. Come find out why we love this area and call it home.

This one bedroom condo was completely remodeled in 2007 with new carpet, granite counter tops, bedding and window treatments with a Mediterranean decor. It is not direct oceanfront, but has a view as nice as oceanfront. Just lounge on the extra large balcony and take in the beautiful view of the ocean and coastline. AGE LIMIT 25

There is a full kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher. coffee maker and all utensils and cookware you will need. There is a king bed in the bedroom plus a full murphy wall bed in living room, will sleep 4. All linens and towels will be provided for you. We have added many little extras to our unit for our renters to use, such as beach chairs and umbrella, beach towels, videos and games. There is also a 37' flat panel high definition tv in the living room for you to watch those videos on and a smaller one in the bedroom. No need to wait in long lines to check-in when staying with us, just arrive and start your vacation!

More details (con't.): On site, you will find indoor and outdoor pools and jacuzzis, large splash station kiddie pool, 2 lazy rivers, fitness room, mini mart, arcade, laundry room and ice cream shop. The indoor pool is located on the 7th floor overlooking ocean boulevard and on the oceanfront side of the 7th floor is a veranda with chairs and hammocks for relaxing in. For entertainment, there is Marco Polo Grill & Bar located by the outdoor pool that has live music during the summer months. There is also Liquids Martini and Coffee bar and Santa Maria restaurant. Come visit our beautiful beach and see for yourself why we love it! This is a non-smoking room and you must be at least 25 years old to rent!!

The Get Away

Had a wonderful stay,Karen was very nice to deal with.The view was awsome,could not see sunrise,but the view of the beach,and the view of the sunset made up for that.The information left in room for dining was very helpful.Did eat at some of the listed restaurants,and had great food.This would be a great place for small family,or two couples.Small appliances but they did the job,but after all it is a rental.And you are on vacation,not living there.Bed was comfortable and had good linens,also had plenty of towels and such.The photos are correct and information is accurate.The owners have beach chairs and beach toys in the room for guest to use,so that way it is less for you to bring.Very short walk to beach and pools,this also made it nice.I could go on forever about the stay,but enough said.Had a wonderful time and great stay.Thanks again Karen for being easy to book through.Just want to add went walking on the last night,and found out the Rivercity Grill is close by and has great food.If we had realized that it was that close,probably would have eating there more than once.

Wonderful

We stayed in Karen's condo for 5 nights. The condo was very clean and the decor has been updated. The view is awesome. Even though you are on the side, you can see very far down the coast from this 10th floor unit. There is a hot tub inside and pool inside as well as the outdoor facilities. The hot tub outside is huge and wonderful. There is also a lazy river for children as well as a larger one, a pool area for kids and a very large pool. The facilities are well kept. The walkway to the beach looks new and the yard is very well maintained with picnic tables. There is also a grill where they cook burgers, make cool drinks, etc that is very convenient. The condo is furnished with plenty of bath linens for your stay. Karen was great to work with.

Just What the Doctor Ordered!!!!

After our long drive from Illinois we where so please when we got into the room! After dropping the bags we went right to the balcony, Wow!! What a wonderful view!! The room was excactly as described. Very well appointed and decorated. We spent most of our time on the balcony while in the room. The sunsets from the balcony was very nice! Having the seperate bedroom was great my wife likes to sleep in so if we shut the door to the living area and front shade it was like night time at 8am in the bedroom! Bed was very comfortable!
We walked every morning on the beach! The beach was awesome! We have been to alot of beach getaway's Mexico, Fl Key's, Bahama's ect.. Never had such an expansive beach! From the room it was just a very short walk to the beach, pools or beach bar! Maybe 2 minutes!!
Although we didn't get alot of good beach time while we were there. I did notice boogie boards, beach umbrella and beach chairs in the room. Thought that was great!
There is so much to do in Myrtle Beach! It was a great stay and we will be back soon!!

Perfect for the Budget Conscious

The room was nice for the price, I wouldn't say 5 stars. I loved the bathroom and it was more then enough room for the two of us. The building is an older one but there were always people cleaning. Although not ocean front we still had a ocean view. It was enjoyable sitting on the balcony and watching the ocean and people at the pool. The resort has beach access which we loved. It was an easy drive down to the boardwalk especially since we didn't like what the resort's restaurant offered.

However, we could tell that it had just been cleaned because there was a strong smell of cleaner mix with smoke, but the smell went away when we opened the sliding door. The bed was not the most comfortable.

We would probably not stay at this property but another of the owners property only because we couldn't see the sun rise in the morning. We overcame that by walking out to the beach.
Owner's Response: We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay at the beach. The resort is one of our most requested rentals for repeat customers. And is located on the most family friendly area of the beach called the "Golden Mile."
The condos at the resort are very spacious. And, although this condo is not direct oceanfront, it has the most amazing view down the coastline.
All of our condos are non-smoking and no pets allowed, so not sure where the smoke smell would have come from. Possibly from another condo? If someone had been smoking in the condo, I don't think the smell would have gone away just by opening the door. So sure it came from outside or a nearby condo.

Fantastic time

First I have to say that this was one of THE most relaxing vacations I have been on. That being said we did not have our children so it makes a difference. We found the condo to be just as described in the listing. The condo itself was a 10mn drive to either Barefoot landing or Broadway at the beach. It was also central to a TON of restaurants and attractions. Although the condo was not ocean front, it might as well have been. Almost Perfect view down to the Skywheel (which I highly recommend) and when the sun set it made for great pictures over Myrtle besch common. We woke several times to catch the sun rise on the beach, our balcony did not afford that view. We visited the bar and the restaurant for breakfast, each just once. I have to say I thought that the outdoor pool was heated, and the indoor heated pool was closed 85% of our stay, that was discouraging. As far as the condo itself, I would have a difficult time making it work as a couple with one child but its managable ( maybe one teenager or two small chd). Any more and seating and dining become questionable. Its not a fault of the owners, it is what it is. We didnt use the pullout couch or murphy. The kitchen was useful to us though, light snacks and lunch. The space was perfect for the two of us however. We noticed chairs and an umbrella and a few beach toys, so save yourself room in your vehicle and use theirs. Elavators were a bit slow up front as noted, even in slower season, but hey, we werent in a hurry and the other set is just down the hall. Dont forget on the 7th floor there is also an observation/sunning deck, it was nice to sit and watch ppl and breath in the beauty of the beach.
