Just what the family ordered....A relaxing time in Destin where you can enjoy it all..the beach, shopping, golf, pools, restaurants, deep see fishing, scuba, snuba and snorkeling, or just doing nothing. It can all happen in Destin and at the Palms of Destin'

This is a true vacation experience!!! An exceptional, almost new resort that offers many options. Whether you want to relax at the phenomenal lagoon pool, go to the best beaches in the world, go shopping, sailing, dining, fishing... you get the picture. The Palms is close to everything. Our guests have truly enjoyed their stays and we have had many return guests and referrals, a true indicator that folks like what they are getting.

The Palms is located just 600 yards from the beach. You can either take the free shuttle, runs seasonally, to the Henderson Beach State Park or go across HWY 98 to the June Decker County beach. There are bathroom facilities at both beach areas. At June Decker, you can either walk or take your car. The Back Porch Restaurant, s Destin landmark, is next door this beach as well, a great place to spend the evening.

Other close attractions are The Trak, Big Kahunas Waterpark, FudPuckers Restaurant, Fat Daddy's Pizza and Arcade. Destin Harbor and the fishing fleet is just down the road where you can book ytour deep sea fishng trips. One thing you will want to do is to take a GLASS BOTTOM Boat Tour or go snorkeling with Destin Snorkel.

Going in the other direction is Destin Commons, a Main Street type shopping destination. A few miles to the east is Sandestin and all it has to offer. Destin has lots of local and very good restaurants that you need to find, don't just go to the chains.

Come here and explore!!! I have called it home since 1997 and don't wnat to live anywhere else.

The Palms is within walking distance of several good and fun restaurants. They include Bubba Gump Shrimp Factory, Joe's Crab Shack, The Back Porch (a Destin classic), Ruth's Chris, Jim-N-Nick's BBQ and Hooters. Wal-Mart and other shopping are also a short walk as well.

This great sixth floor unit offers a lagoon pool view as well as an evening sunset(seasonal) over the Gulf of Mexico and Destin. The unit is a KING 2 bedroom with a king bed in both bedrooms. Another sleeping option is the queen pull-out sofa in the living room. You will also find flat screen televisions in the living area and bedrooms. This condominium has all of the comforts of home and we know you will be pleased with.

Notes: I like to keep my condo as if I am coming to stay. I keep laundry detergent, dishwashing and dishwasher detergents, garbage bags, soap, shampoo, hair dryers, boos, a few DVDs, some games, cards, etc. Please use but leave behind. Books, if you want one, trade it out. Accomodations are not ADA accessible but I am sure could accomodate many. Elevators are on each end of the building and the grounds are 1 level. All linens are provided for your stay and there is a washer and dryer for your use in the unit. I just replaced the sofa with a leather sleeper and have a very comfortable mattress. Family Vacation A Must

We stayed here August 2012. I must say it was the best experience ever. I came across this property because I was searching for a 2 bedroom King condo because the couple we travel with takes the King suite. We needed the second bedroom to have king also because it was our turn to have Master Bedroom. It was extremely clean and the pool area is kid friendly and extremely safe for all ages. I did not worry or stress out with my little ones at all. The pool side food service was an awesome treat when we didn't feel like going back to the room to eat. Very convenient to all shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy.. I have been looking all over to find this condo because my friend booked it. I will be returning this year so be expecting a phone call really soon.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

This was our second time staying at The Palms....first time with working with Peter and renting his condo. Everything was great. Nice rooms, full kitchen, laundry and a wonderful balcony with a great view. Would definigtely recommend staying there if visiting Destin. Thanks again for a great stay.

Excellent option for all

We stayed in Unit 1615 recently and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My husband, 15 month old and I had plenty of room to spread out in this two bedroom condo, which was immaculate and provided all the amenities we needed. The view over the pool was entertaining (we even enjoyed the music from the Friday night concert from the comfort of our balcony), but also could see the ocean in the distance. The Palms' pool is excellent - the zero entry area was perfect for our toddler. Because the pool is so large and has different areas and depths, it wasn't too crowded and we were able to move her around in her little float with ease. She also enjoyed the little kid pool area and splash pad. She was not old enough to enjoy them yet, but we were pleased to see they offered craft activities ($) for the kids in the afternoons throughout our stay, and they even had a "kids' night out" to free mom/dad up ($). All seemed reasonably priced. We chose to take our own car across the street to Henderson State Park and were very pleased with how super easy it was to get to and the amenities at the park. We were also super close to a lot of wonderful restaurants (we loved The Back Porch and enjoyed a meal right on the beach). Having Wal-mart right next door was also a huge bonus for picking up milk, additional snacks, and a Red-Box movie.

We will most definitely stay at The Palms again, and would certainly rent this unit from Peter again and again. He was very easy to rent from and very professional.

Absolutely Wonderful!!!

We loved this super spacious 2BR King unit. The oversized balcony was great too. The photos provided here are exactly what the unit looks like. We were very pleased with everything about our stay and really like dealing with Peter. We have stayed in the smaller unit several times in the past and have always been very pleased. You won't be disappointed with Palms of Destin!
