Perfect family holiday - highly recommend

We were excited about this holiday having looked at this website a million times before we went, however, we were not prepared for how perfect it really is. The apartment is stunning, spacious, very well equipped and beautifully presented. The location is perfect, not only for the view but it's proximity to restaurants and beaches. The next morning we woke up and raced to see the view over the balcony and it didn't disappoint. We spent the next 2 weeks in awe of that view and spent many an hour sat there with a glass of wine or eating breakfast feeling so calm and relaxed. It was also very child friendly, and our 3 yr old was happy to cool down in the tv room. The roof terrace houses a BBQ so we made use of that a couple of times, and if you time it right, you can watch the sunset eating your dinner. Truly stunning.
The complex is very friendly and quiet. Although the pool is communal, we often found ourselves there on our own. There is a children's play area at the back of the apt, which belongs to another complex, but you are able to use it with no problems. The coastal path was nice to walk along in the cooler hours, a beautiful cove about 20 mins walk away.
We hired a car, which we felt was a must if you are to see any of the area. We searched out different beaches and on the way to one (Pissouri), as we drove along the B6 coast road, we stumbled upon the most spectacular view of Petra Tou Romiou (Aphrodites Rock). There is a shop/cafe where you can park and walk to the beach which is stunning. The ice cream van further along the road higher up not only serves the best ice creams but the view there is amazing. Our favourite beach was Coralli (Beach Apts), a minute drive from Coral Bay Beach - it was sandy, calm and stunning. Most beaches are stoney but beautiful. Vardas (just before Coral Bay) was a lovely cove with sandy/small stones. All have amenities. Another fabulous view was on the way to Polis/Latsi Harbour with lovely waterside restaurants to chose from. Tala Square was also great, Melitzia restaurant overlooked the stunning views. Our overall favourite local restaurant was Siennas, about 5 minute drive (towards Coral Bay) on the left, you can't miss it. The staff were so friendly, made a fuss of our daughter and they also made my birthday meal special.
Carol & Phil are fabulous and helpful from start to finish. The owner of this property is very lucky to have them. We were very sad to leave and will definitely be back.
