Spacious house in the old town area of Oliva close to the historic St Roc Square. A traditional Spanish terraced home tiled throughout, offers comfortable accommodation comprising of living area, dining room, kitchen, two twin and one double bedded room. There is a private sun terrace between the bedrooms on the first floor with patio furniture; steps lead up to the top terrace that has good views of the Castle ruins. The local bakers and general store are but a stones throw away. This charming house is just five minutes drive from Oliva's magnificent uncrowded, golden sandy beach which stretches 10 km. Superb natural surroundings of vast plantations of orange, olive and almond trees by the mountain provide background scenery. In the more modern part of town is the tree lined boulevard (paseo) that is home to the weekly market and near by the permanent covered market that offers fresh daily produce.

Oliva is an unspoilt market town, rich in history and culture located in the region of Valencia on the Costa del Azahar on the northern edge of the Costa Blanca. Oliva is connected to France by the A7 motorway (Exit 61). The motorway continues south connecting with cities such as Denia, Altea, Benidorm and Alicante. From Denia ferrys leave daily to Ibiza and Formentera.

Good Family Holiday

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Traditional town house with bakers, bar and small supermarket at the bottom of the street. Parking at top of a road near by. Take the AP7 coastal road to Oliva, otherwise you'll be on a scenic route! Plenty of room for family of four with children in seperate bedrooms. Air-Con in master bedroom, a god-send and fans in other rooms. The house was a lived in home with so many extras. All the bits and pieces and more. Hire a small car if I were you. Beaches are excellent and are a 5 minute drive. Oliva beaches all very good. Trip to Benidorm worth it if you have kids - theme park and water park great, but we went early July. Might think twice in August. Description accurate, property clean (smells it's age which adds character), Owners excellent in communication. I would recommend this property to my friends. I have paid triple the amount for accomodation and it has been smaller than this house, which looks small from the outside, but big when you get in. If you like the idea of a beach holiday close to Valencia whilst living amongst the spanish, this is for you. If you like loud british people, rent a place in Benidorm!

The house was excellent and beautifully appointed. There was plenty of space for the five of us. My only criticism was the parking. Narrow streets and an up hill climb and no guarntee of a space. My driving skills improved! A car is essential in this location.
