Nestled within the exclusive Shangri-La community Grand Lake Retreat was recently remodeled (spring 2012 with additional improvements made in the winter of 2013) to offer beautiful accommodations for a lake vacation. Our lakefront home is a 4 bedroom/ 3 full bathroom standalone condo that sleeps 12 people. We have a prime lake location in the back yard and the amazing Shangri-La golf course across the street from our front yard!

We are just a few short minute walk from the brand new 20,000 sq. ft. club house and the amazing Summit restaurant and Buffalo Bar with fabulous indoor and outdoor settings and 5 star food!

Grand Lake Retreat is also the only property in Shangri-La Estates that has a covered boat dock...and we are making it available to rent during your stay! You can keep your boat (or rented boat), jet skis, swim, or fish---we have something for everyone!

Our home has an upper and lower deck that has beautiful lake views and a wonderful natural feel amidst the trees. It is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday responsibilities and catch you breath on a Grand Lake Retreat!

With all that Grand Lake Retreat and Shangri-La have to offer we can provide you with a wonderful romantic week or weekend away with your spouse or a great atmosphere to create memories with your family. Either way: we have something for everyone!

We also offer access to the private neighborhood pool and walking trails for a leisurely stroll by the ponds or lake.

Our 2012 remodel offers guests new bedding and linens, new appliances, and new HD flat screen TVs, while our latest improvements made this winter are new wood floors and a new hot tub on the back porch which looks out over the lake!

Additional information about rental rates

Non-refundable deposit of $500 is due at time of booking in order to secure requested dates. This deposit will be put toward your final payment. All rental and other fees are due 6 weeks in advance of stay.
Fees And Taxes Additional costs include $150 Cleaning Fee. 5.9% Lodging Tax also applies. We also have an optional Boat Slip rental available which is connected to property and includes a 28 ft Monohull Hydrahoist & 2 HydroPort (Jet ski launching ramps). This Optional add-on is available at $75 per day of use.
Nightly Holiday Rates: $649/night (Valentines Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years Eve). All other terms and conditions are in our rental agreement which will be emailed to you at time of booking.

* Approximate monthly rate. Actual rate will depend on the days of the month you stay.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (USD) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Our entire family stayed over Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful time, still here in fact and don't want to leave. The house is beautiful, clean and accommodates 14 with the pull out couches. The views are spectacular! The trees were beautiful fall colors- The sunrise every morning was beautiful over the lake. The hot tub is a wonderful addition. The owners were helpful in planning, restaurant suggestions, etc.
We are looking to plan our next trip back to stay at this house. It was a Thanksgiving to remember!

Great time at the lake

We were looking for a place we could relax and enjoy time with our friends and this home was the perfect place. The views are fantastic and the home has everything you need. The boat dock was a definite plus and the owners went out of their way to make sure our needs were taken care of. If you are heading to Grand Lake, you need to seriously consider this home. I'm sure glad we did. The Younger's.

We came to Grand Lake to celebrate family birthdays this past August and had a wonderful stay. The response time when booking was quick and smooth. Check in was so easy. The home was a prime location on the lake and very close to the marina if you want to rent a boat. Everything was clean and spacious with gorgeous views from everywhere in the house. I would highly recommend this home.

Perfect Stay!

"Our stay at the Grand Lake Retreat was perfect! The house was
fantastic and the sleeping arrangements were ideal. The location
couldnt have been better! An easy two minute walk across the golf
course to the clubhouse, to a short drive to restaraunts and bars,
everything you would need was close by. The dock was a great perk as
we were able to keep our boat and sea-dos safe over night.

I would definitely recommend booking a stay at Grand Lake Retreat and
hope to again soon."
