The bungalow in Alkmaar is suitable for four or five persons. It has a very large private garden and garage. Because of the southerly orientated garden, sun is available all day. The trees make sure that any shadow places are available as well. Luxury bathroom with thermocrane shower and bathtub. Also luxury toilet.

The bungalow has an open plan kitchen with a refrigerator, 4-pit stove, dishwasher, and a microwave; Living room: colour TV with satellite and DVD player, a radio, garden furniture;

The parent bedroom with two 90/200 separate luxurious box-springs.

A second bedroom with two 90/200 separate luxurious box-springs.

The third bedroom has one box spring.

Extra charges:

Wonderful wooden lodge in North Holland

We had 3 nights staying in this lovely wooden lodge. It was very well equipped and was very warm and comfortable and was a 5 minute drive into Alkmaar and also very close to lots of other lovely places (Edam, Volendam). There is a really interesting windmill museum just along the road. We would have hired bikes but we stayed during the coldest Easter for 40 years so with 3 young children decided not to, but it is of course a perfect cycling country. We will be recommending it to friends.

Perfect Family Holiday Bungalow

Property was as described, not fancy but very comfortable, and clean. This bungalow has everything a family needs, including a TV, wifi, dishwasher and washing machine. Located a short distance outside of town, yet everything is very accessible. Highways, public transit, shopping etc are all very nearby. The owner was very helpful and responded promptly to all my queries prior to arrival. Owner also arranged bike rentals our whole family.

Great Location

The property is spacious and ideally situated for visiting some wonderful towns and villages in this area of Holland. Alkmaar is a real suprise, with great architecture, wonderful cafes and the cheesemarket on Fridays is a must for all lovers of cheese,

Volemdam was a recent location for one of the 'Hairy Bikers'cookery shows and is a hidden treasure that is less than 30km away and should not be missed!

An enjoyable stay

We had a great, relaxed time. Everything was there... well equipped.
The kids enjoyed the back yard where they could use the swing and play ball.
Easy access to Alkmaar and any other point of interest in the area.
We recommend!
