My boyfriend and I live on the beach, so when he was assigned to go to Scottsdale temporally for work we weren't thinking that it would be much of a vacation.
Surprisingly, it actually turned out to be the perfect little mini-vacation. The rental unit, which I booked through a woman named Danielle, was spotless. It provided us with way more space than a hotel room would have, and it had high ceilings that made it feel more like a home and less like a standard rental.
We were on the top floor, which was quiet and great placement. (There was no elevator, which was okay by us, but something I thought should be noted prior to rental-- especially if you have big suitcases or problems navigating stairs.) We had access to a big pool (yay for me!) and a gym (yay for my boyfriend!).
We were allowed to bring our little dog (who is fully trained, as I told the management before-hand), which saved us a ton of money in boarding fees.
I'd totally recommend this to anyone who needs a place to stay in Scottsdale. We've actually already booked the spot again since we have to return in a few weeks and prefer to support a locally-owned company instead of a chain-hotel.
