During the summer months a 30' slip is provided at the Lakeside Marina for your use during your stay. Or use the Somers Bay public boat launch, which is conveniently located at the bottom of the hill and has great launch ramps and parking. There is also, loads of parking around the home for RV’s, boats & trailers.
One of the unique and great aspects of this home is the two levels of living, great for two families traveling together. The main level has 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a game room with convertible sofas and a full bath. The lower level has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, living room area & washer/dryer. On the top floor is a game area, 1000 square feet, complete with ping pong table and a full bathroom. So the entire house with its 7 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 2 kitchens and loads of living space provides space for everybody to relax and unwind. Off the deck is a barbeque and huge lawn. Croquet, volleyball, badminton, equipment provided.
The living area on the main level is a large open space with living room, dining & kitchen. The furnishings throughout the home are high quality & were chosen for this home. The large screen HD television in the living room has satellite service with movie channels, DVD/Blu-ray player, Ipod dock & Wi-Fi. There is a large fireplace and a large covered deck off the living room with a dining table and chairs.
Each level of the home has a master suite with a king bed and private bath with a jetted tub and stall shower. The showers are tile and the counter tops granite. In the master baths there are vanities & large walk-in closets. The master bedroom on the main level has a propane fireplace, HD television, and access to the deck. There are an additional 2 bedrooms, on each level, with queen beds and a shared baths. On the main level there is a third full bathroom and bedroom with king bed and on the top level another full bathroom plus convertible sofas.
There are two kitchens. Both kitchens are fully equipped with all the utensils for cooking & dining. Cook-top, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, & a laundry room with a washer and dryer on the main floor and lower level.
Places to see besides the lake: Glacier National Park is less than an hour’s drive. It is a wonderful day trip for hiking, sightseeing, or whitewater rafting. In the winter skiing is about 35 minutes away, either in Whitefish at Big Mountain or in Lakeside at Blacktail Mountain. If golf is the ticket, Flathead Valley has 9 championship courses and has been named by Golf Digest as one of the top 50 golf destinations.
