The Hermitage is a beautiful log home perched high on the bluff of Lake Michigan. It is a perfect place for a quiet retreat. Set on 4 acres with 200' of private beach this cottage home is newly remodeled. The great room has a stone fireplace and is surrounded by windows where you can gaze into the open expanse of Lake Michigan. It also features a separate family room in the loft and an enclosed porch off from the kitchen. There is a wrap-around deck that spans 270° around the cottage giving you views from sunrise to sunset. There is a large deck on the bluff overlooking the lake, a perfect spot to bird watch and enjoy the sunset. There is a staircase of just over 200 steps (shared with one other cottage) leading to the private, sandy beach. This is absolutely the perfect place in Michigan to enjoy the spectacular views, beach and nature.

The city of Whitehall is 20 minutes south and offers Michigan Adventures Amusement and Water Park which is Michigan's largest amusement park. Fishing piers, marinas, charter fishing, shopping, restaurants, laundromat and grocery stores are also available in Whitehall. Ludington is 40 minutes north and also offers piers, fishing, fishing charters, marinas, restaurants and shopping.
