We are Hawaiian Island transplants now living in Minnesota!
We love Punta Gorda with its warm breezes, tropical smells, friendly natives and did we mention Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf!! This is the perfect spot to enjoy the 'Margaritaville' state of mind and still close enough for family and friends visit. Our home is furnished for family, pets, and ease of cleaning, very much like homes on the Hawaiian Islands where we are from.
We enjoy coffee by the pool in the morning. Window shopping and dinning at Fisherman's Village. The old Florida feel of downtown Punta Gorda and the people relaxed with no one watching the time is priceless! The best spot finish off the day has to be the Riviera Oyster Bar Restaurant located at 5500 Deltona Dr Punta Gorda, FL 33950. We love the odd ball location, the retro feel, the boats coming in on the river and dancing after dark!
Beaches near and a Beaches just a scenic drive away! Shelling is a must!
