Menorca is the second largest of the Balearic Islands being approximately 31 miles by 9 miles and is situated 27 miles to the east of Majorca. Menorca has numerous sandy beaches ideal for families with small children. Cala'n Porter has a large, sandy and sheltered beach enclosed by cliffs. Facilities on the beach include life-guards, bars, shop, sun beds, umbrellas and pedalloes. In the centre you will find large well stocked supermarkets for all your self-catering needs. Variety of bars and restaurants with friendly, welcoming staff. Competitive prices for attractive, value for money meals, some with large outdoor seating areas. Children's play area with bar facilities, bouncy castle, games room with air conditioned soft play area for toddlers and younger children. Car hire is available. A regular bus service to Mahon, and a local and friendly taxi firm. Everything available to make the most of your self-catering holiday. The villa is less than 10 minutes walk to the centre.

  • Villa deposit 20% required at time of booking. Safe/security key deposit £100 refundable in full on return of keys. Holidays which include 2 price ranges will be charged at price shown for day of departure.
  • Transfer from the airport is approximately 15 minutes. Taxis and car hire is readily available from the airport.

There are a further 2 double bedrooms with built in wardrobes and drawers. The smaller 4th bedroom has 2 single beds with a wardrobe. Air con has been installed in the 2 rear bedrooms, (one double and the smaller 4th bedroom)

Notes: Ideal for 2 small families or one large family wanting a private facilities. The large 8m x 5m swimming pool is ideal for all those inflatables! Large front terrace with patio table and chairs for al fresco dining and sun bathing. Sun beds and chairs are included in the price of the villa. The back door leads onto a privately walled large side terrace. Large driveway suitable for 2 vehicles, gated access to ensure complete privacy. The kitchen has recently been refurbished and includes a microwave and dishwasher. The cooker is large enough to cater for 8 persons, with a large fridge/freezer. In the living room there is satellite TV with a variety of family package programmes and a DVD player with a selection of DVDs. A CD player is also available with a selection of CDs. A large selection of books kindly donated by previous clients and caters for most tastes. Colouring books and pencils, board games and playing cards are also available to keep the whole family happy.

we found menorca a very clean well maintained island.the villa has everything you need for your stay.it is very spacious and clean.some days we stayed at the villa during the day with a snack to eat and cooling off in the swimming pool and ate out every night.there are a wide range of restaurants where you can have a three course meal or a snack depending on your appertite.we had no preference where to eat.
there is entertainment in the bars at night and if your feeling energetic there is a nightclub in the caves.the shops are a short walk from the villa so you can stock up the fridge. the bus service is good if you dont want to hire a car.mahon is a nice day out,a visit to the harbour is a must.the boats there are a eye opener,how the other half live.we went as a family of four with two teenagers and had a brilliant time.the kids made friends easily so were off out doing their own thing.the owner provided good customer service giving advice where to visit and eat during our stay.we would certainly hire this villa again.

my family and i had the most wonderfull two weeks in august in this spacious four bedroom villa there was lots of space in the kitchen to spread arround and the children had a fabulous time in the large pool the privacy was great there is every little thing you could possibly need even games and tv for the kids the villa was spotless and the manager carlos a great guy the bars and resturants in walking distance but not close enough to cause any noise at night, there is a great bus service to mahon if you don,t want to hire a car but the island is so small and beautifull we would recomend that you go see some of the gorgeous beaches,the local beach is in walking distance and very clean with all amenities will definitely return,mrs m

Absolutely gorgeous villa, exceptionally clean and well maintained, generous sized rooms, prime location, near enough to walk, far enough not to get all the noise from the bars.
The bars and restaurants, all within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance, we all lovely but our definite favourite was la Salamadras, great quality food and great value if you have the menu of the day, includes 3 courses and wine.
The beach is beautiful and very clean, the sea gorgeous and clear.
There is a lovely local market on, great little finds from the local area. A travel into Mahon is definitely recommended, especially the harbour and the great market in the centre, fantastic for all you fellow shopaholics!
If you hire a car a trip out to the Lladro factory is also recommended, a great day out if weather a little cloudy, aswell as discounted rates on lladro products the factory also sells plenty of little nic naks in anyones price range. It is caters for children with a fab go cart track and a family frindly cafe so make a day of it!

I would definitely recommend this property to a friend,the owner is a pleasure to deal with, very friendly and a complete expert on the local area so is a great help if you've never been to the island before.

I will definitely be returning and I can't wait!! xxxxx

We have been taking holidays on the island since 1982 and have seen many changes but Menorca's character remains distinct from other areas of Spain. It remains the quiet island not allowing over development.
