QUAINT CONVERTED GRANARY WITH BREATHTAKING VIEWS NEAR WINCHESTER

Weekly rentals are now available at the Granary.

The Granary was an old building on our property and was exactly what the name implies 'a building for storing threshed grain' Converted into a finished living area, the Granary is beautifully done with the original pine floorsfinished with a maple finish. The interior doors were broght in from another old house on the property and are estimated to be 150 years old .The 2nd floor is divided into a family room, kitchen, dinette, bath and bedroom, it is decorated in various colors and patterns of blue, gold, green and red. Wallpaper in various colors and patterns outline the walls, giving it a warm glow throughout.

Furniture has been chosen to match the look of the country with an Amish handcrafted table, chairs and buffett in the dining area. A vermont casting stove can be enjoyed in the family room while watching TV, reading or relaxing. Guests can enjoy the quaint bathroom with it's wallpapers and decorations along with a shower, vanity and tile floor. The kitchen is fully equiped with modern appliances, dishes, silverware, and pots and pans.

Sit on the deck overlooking the meadow and pond, and watch deer grazing, the many types of hardwood trees with squirrels scurring about and enjoy your own private home away from home or use the Granary as home base to visit the many area attractions.
