WHAT A VIEW!

Water's Edge is what it claims to be~ A relaxing and quiet spot away from it all. The view out over the ocean is spectacular, add to that the private pool and hammock swaying under the palm trees and it's a great place to unwind.
We did have some maintenance issues, but were handled quickly by the property manager Charlotte and we even recieved a phone call from the owner, Mark. The house is clean, comfortable and provides all needed amenities. Although one could walk to get groceries and to a beach, we would highly recommend having a car. Do not want to miss out on visiting Cabbage Beach.
We made breakfast each morning in the nicely equipped kitchen, but dined out each evening. If you are looking for a pampering upscale experience check out Graycliff. This place boasts 250,000 bottles of wine in it's cellar, which you can view and cigars rolled in the lounge each evening. For fun, a view and tasty local food The Poop Deck is the place. Best place for groceries, Fresh Mart, even if a bit more money, they have everything, including tasty made to order sandwiches and a salad bar. Marco's Pizza is close to the house, fresh dough made daily. Should you want to have lunch in town, 2 blocks away from the water on Frederick St. is the Brussel's Bistro. Small, friendly and great menu.
We also spent a few days at Atlantis. Not the peaceful place Water's Edge is, but super fun for kids. Favorite dining experience there was Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill.
Overall we rate this vacation highly and hope to return to Water's Edge in the future.
