Perfect Summer Vacation Rental for a Family Holiday
This was my family’s first visit to this beautiful home, and I certainly hope it will not be our last. My wife and I along with our three kids (4 and 2.5 year old twins) were joined by my sister and her three children (10, 8 and 6). The home comfortably accommodated our two families by providing sufficient space to gather together or to enjoy private time.
The VRBO listing is 100% accurate, yet it still fails to describe how beautiful this property is. From the moment you make your way down the driveway, you are enveloped by the thoughtful design and masterful craftsmanship of this lakeside retreat. The landscaping, decks, gardens and outdoor furnishings beckon you to take a load off. The interior layout and furnishings are spacious yet cozy. The dock offered safe mooring for our boat and provided a perfect breakwater for the gradual-entry beach where our young children enjoyed crystal clean Flathead Lake.
Feel free to bring your own toys, but Patti and Robin are very generous in sharing the toys they have gathered on behalf of their own grandchildren.
The hot tub was a spectacular place to soothe the post-waterski aches, and the kayaks were a welcome peaceful alternative to motoring. My only request would be the addition of a swim ladder to the end of the dock – other than that, this place is absolutely perfect.
No details were missed in the design and furnishing of this incredible home. It is, quite frankly, the perfect place from which to explore Flathead Lake.
