Welcome to Villa Tortugas! Located directly on the Ocean in Mismaloya; just an absolutely beautiful 15-minute drive along the coast from Downtown Puerto Vallarta sits this Ocean Front Estate. Integrating the lush tropical gardens and the ocean into its design, this amazing Villa is an oasis of Tranquility, Peace, Privacy, Sunshine and Breathtaking water views. Walkways line the lush tropical gardens, connecting the different parts of the house, further enhancing the serenity of the home. The Villa is decorated in fine style, complimenting both comfort and functionality. Beautiful artwork from local artists adorn the cathedral walls throughout the six story estate (don’t worry there is an elevator). There are 4 En-suite bedrooms, one with an adjoining chlldren's suite, with expansive terraces and personal climate control, 1 loft studio with private ocean view balcony, 9 bathrooms, two infinity swimming Pools, Steam Room, and Out-door Bar with full Kitchen and Barbeque.

During your stay you will be pampered by the fantastic staff, which includes an on-site living House manager, full time Chef, Private driver and maids to assure your stay is comfortable and unforgettable.

A fabulous state of the art kitchen occupies part of the top level, that your chef will employ while preparing you and your guests gourmet meals using local, fresh ingredients.

    Suggested gratuities of 10 % paid to house manager for the entire staff are not included.
    Free long distance telephone service, WiFi Internet connection throughout the entire villa. Satellite TV with programs in English, French and German. DVD players, IPod Hub, Surround sound throughout, CD player, Games, Books, DVD Library and so much more.

    All major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, AMEX and Discover) are accepted as well as checks.
    To request a booking on this property, we need your full name, mailing address, and all contact numbers (including cell phone) please confirm via email and you will then receive an invoice for deposit and or full payment through wire transfer.
  • Deposits: $1,500. This is separate from the rent itself. Your deposit is promptly returned when I receive back my keys and my House Manager says everything is in good order. Your deposit takes my place off the rental market. The rent itself is not due until 60 days prior to your arrival. After I receive the deposit by credit card or check through PayPal. I send you a letter/contract, a copy of which you return. Then after I've received the rent, you pick the keys upon your arrival, maps and my recommendations of places to go and things to do. I welcome any questions you may have and again, thank you for your interest.

    Cancellation: 60 days prior to arrival with a $1,500 cancellation fee.

  • At Villa Tortugas, each bedroom suite is very private, with 2 bedrooms per floor sharing beautiful furnished terraces, in a cascade down the hillside. They are 6 levels in all, and whilst this afford everyone their own privacy and space, there are plenty of steps involved. There is an outside glass elevator available that runs from the upper pool deck to the lower game room deck, they are still two flight of stairs to undertake.

I stayed here for a week and I never wanted to leave. On the first morning, I woke up and put on my bathing suit, walked upstairs and onto the kitchen patio. Coffee and juice were already sitting out for me even though I was the first one to breakfast. I poured a cup of coffee and walked into the infinity pool. The first thought I had was, "so this is what heaven looks like" The view from the pool was majestic. Once everyone awoke and made it upstairs, an amazing breakfast was prepared for us. After breakfast, I went downstairs to grab my phone only to find my bed had already been made. I immediately felt like I was at a five star hotel that I had all to myself (and my friends) Then I went down by the main pool to read my iPad under the palapa, cold Corona in hand. The view from there was paradise. My friend plugged his iPod into the villa stereo and we could listen to it from every corner of the property, including the palapa.

After an hour of reading, my group drove down the road to the local beach (2 minutes away.) Only it wasn't your average vacation beach, since we were nowhere near the main city. This was the local beach. This wasn't a tourist vacation spot. This is where tourists wished they vacationed. After a light snack at the beach and some swimming, we drove back to the villa. Lunch was being prepared when we got back. We all changed and sat for lunch, or a feast . . . it felt more like the latter.

Day one was nowhere near over and I already never wanted to leave. The next day we chartered a small fishing boat to take us snorkeling. A local guide my friend knew took us out to swim with beautiful fish, then we stopped at a hotel beachfront restaurant for lunch. Afterwards, we went to a local village with a grand waterfall that all the locals were swimming under. You don't see places like this living in the States.

If I could repeat one day over and over again, it would be one of the days from this vacation. One day at Villa Tortugas and you'll agree!

One of the most amazing vacations ever!!!

Staying at Villa Tortugas allowed my family and I to completely enjoy every aspect of this wonderfully cultured city. The villa is very close to town, making it easy to access the lifestyle, art, history, cuisine, etc. at the drop of a hat. When we were tuckered out from a long day shopping, hiking, fishing, snorkeling, what have you, we were so pleased to know that we had a private villa to come back to and relax in. The wonderful staff, especially Chef Gloria, made every moment spent there a breeze and hassle free. The architecture, views, pools/hot tubs, amazing waterfalls and comfortable beds, truthfully, made us never want to leave. The entire building is well maintained and clean thoroughly every day, making it one of the finest experiences we have ever had as a family. If you ever want to get away to PV for a luxurious adventure then bring your family and friends to Villa Tortugas where your every need is catered to. See you next year & Thank You!!

We just got back from the best week in PV. This house is breathtaking. Our group always looks forward to our yearly trip to Puerto Vallarta. Not only for the paradise that Vallarta is, but mostly for the place where we stay. Villa Tortugas is certainly the highlight of our trip!

We were there in March. We had a full house (12 people). The house was big enough for all, it was clean, well maintained, beautiful, and just plain fun. The waterfalls and intertwining streams with fish swimming around the pool area was so relaxing for all of us..

The View, the house, the staff....oh the staff...PERFECTION!!!!!!! The hospitality from the house staff was impeccable! The meals were superb and the attentiveness of the staff to our needs was awe-inspiring. We definitely felt as if this house was ours. The views from the infinity pools (yes, they have TWO), the decor, Then AMAZING Lush gardens, and the overall ambiance in this beautiful edifice are the epitome of OMG!!!! To add to our memorable experience the owners of this villa called us from abroad to make sure that we were enjoying ourselves and that made the trip priceless! Villa Tortugas is impeccable!
