Excellent location with views and privacy at a great price! We are continually updating with new bedding, linens, towels, and much more. This unit includes a fully furnished kitchen with a new stove and small appliances. This is a second floor end unit with a 'wrap around' lanai featuring garden, golf course and partial ocean views. Surf and Racquet Club is a 4 star ocean front resort and the ocean is 150 yard walk from your condo door. A secluded beach frequented by green sea turtles is located on the north side of the resort. We are also within walking distance of one of the best snorkling sites in Hawaii.
The KKS&RC has three professional lighted tennis courts and features an on-site tennis pro providing everything from group clinics to private lessons. The courts were resurfaced in 2013. A large pool and pavillian is located in the center of the resort. There is a strolling path on the ocean to enjoy either at sunset or sunrise.

When we are not in Hawaii, we own and operate Oak Grove Pottery in Brown County Indiana. Brown County is an established art community located an hour south of Indianapolis. We are both juried members of the Indiana Artisan Program as well as the Local Clay Art Guild.
We have provided some of our functional pottery for your use during your stay in our condo.
Prior to Oak Grove Pottery, we were both involved in business and professional careers including Tom's eighteen years at a medical device manufacturing company and Judy's not-for-profit and management consulting activities.
Over the past 30 years we have been fortunate to live in some special places including five years in southern California and three years in Sydney Australia. The shores of Kona gives us some of the same wonderful feelings as we had during our stay in Sydney.
After traveling to Hawaii on vacation for 30 years, we fell in love with the Kailua-Kona coast. In the spring of 2011, we purchased unit 7-204 as our Hawaiin home.
The Kona coast and the island of Hawaii has so much to offer including kayaking, snorkeling, swimming, tennis, golf and numerous other outdoor activities. We loved this particular area because of the 'village' feel to the town and the close proximity to both shopping and great resturants. Tom's passion is tennis and the KKS&RC has one of the best tennis facilities in the area. Judy often takes a morning walk on the adjacent Kona County Club golf course. The fresh fruits and veggies which can be bought year round at the local farmers markets are great! We are at the far end of Alii Drive which is much more quite than closer to town. Alii Drive is perfect for walking, running or biking. Tom rides his bike into the village a couple of times a week.
You are just steps away from some of the best whale watching, snorkeling and sunsets anywhere. 7-204 is unique to have beautiful garden, golf and ocean views. KKS&RC is rated #2 in specialty resorts by Trip Advisor.
Although there are plenty of great restuarants close by, we both love to cook and have equiped our condo with all of the 'necessities' to prepare any type of meal. From fresh fish on the grill with rice to easy slow cooker Hawaii style pork, the condo has all the tools needed. We continue to add new things each time we visit the islands.
Short walk to shopping center, including grocery.... Long's Drug Store, restaurants, farmers markets and beach.
