Photos and Description of the Wengen vacation rental 3 bedroom comfortable apartment, sleeping up to six.

The chalet Rose is located in the so called 'Unterdorf' of Wengen and approximately a 7-10 minutes walk away from the centre and the railway station. This 4.5 room apartment on the first floor is ideal for 4 to 6 people, with approximately 70m2 of well integrated living space.The apartment offers one large Master bedroom and two smaller bedrooms with two single beds each. The bathroom with a bathtub /shower/wash basin and toilet is modern and fully functional. The living area is bright, welcoming, nicely furnished, cosy and comfortable. There is a sofa and sitting area for six people a cable television system , a DVD player and a range of books, family card and board games. The fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, dishwasher, a toaster, a kettle and a refrigerator modern and very tastefully integrated into the living area. An added bonus is the magnificent view of the Jungfrau and other mountains from the sunny, sheltered balcony.

Wengen, ( altitude 1274 m) is located on a wind-protected sun terrace, high above Lauterbrunnen Valley at the foot of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The resort is an ideal departure point for excursions to many attractive destinations, including the Jungfraujoch- Top of Europe at 3454 meters. Wengen is ideal for family holidays, offering excellent skiing and hiking conditions in the Scheidegg and Eiger Glacier areas. Wengen is as well the scene of the longest International ski world cup down hill race.
