Built in 2007 in typical Swiss chalet style, the Chalet Luna is situated in a quiet part of Wengen. It is just 5-7 minutes walk from the railway station. This strictly non-smoking 5 ½ room apartment over two floors is ideal for eight people, with 4 very comfortable double bedrooms and approximately 160m2 of very well integrated living space. The apartment is very bright, welcoming, luxury and very nicely furnished, cosy and comfortable. There is a sofa and sitting area in the living rooms with an Sweden oven, a cable television system , a DVD player and free internet access via TV bride band. The modern kitchen is fully equipped . The dining area can also seat eight people comfortably. The three bathrooms are modern and fully functional. The central heating and the hot water system guarantee that guests will be warm even on the coldest days. An added bonus is the magnificent view of the Jungfrau and other mountains from the sunny, sheltered balcony.

Wengen, ( altitude 1274 m) is located on a wind-protected sun terrace, high above Lauterbrunnen Valley at the foot of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The resort is an ideal departure point for excursions to many attractive destinations, including the Jungfraujoch- Top of Europe at 3454 meters. Wengen is ideal for family holidays, offering excellent skiing and hiking conditions in the Scheidegg and Eiger Glacier areas. Wengen is as well the scene of the longest International ski world cup down hill race. An added bonus is the location, the chalet is directly on the ski down hill - so ski in and out is possible

A very well presented apartment which was spotless on arrival. The balcony is great and spacious with views of the Jungfrau. The apartment is close to the centre but is slightly up hill. I would have no hesitation recommending it to others.
