Duneside Too - The west beach villas are closer to the beach than any other villas on Kiawah Island. Step out of the back door and you are already on the boardwalk, accessing 10 miles of Kiawah's ilepristine beach.

Each of the four bedrooms has its own full bathroom. From the second floor balcony you can enjoy an aperitif while watching the moon rise over the ocean. Duneside Too has a fully-equipped, kitchen and dining area with every modern convenience.

Flatscreen TVs and wireless internet keep you connected to the outside world - but only if you wish!

POOL ACCESS IS INCLUDED! The Duneside Villas have the use of the neighborhood swimming pool, just 100 yards down the street. This is a a benefit not available to many rental properties on Kiawah.

For your cars, there are two reserved parking spaces in front of the villa.

The beach was wonderful. House location could not have been better. Enjoyed everything that the beach has to offer. The people are very friendly and helpful.



We enjoyed the beach, Charleston and dinners out. But our lasting memories will be having our entire family here at the same time from three states.

Family Gathering

The house was beautiful, location perfect, and looking out onto the ocean from the deck every morning was a beautiful way to start the day. We were a bit concerned that the house might be too small for 10 people but we felt we each had enough space. The great room area was a prime gathering spot. What sets this apart from some beach locations is the vegetation that grows between the beach and the houses. It holds birds and wildlife. Each morning we were greeted by birdsongs and had wildlife sightings in the evenings.

This townhouse was beautiful and in a great location. Awesome views of the beach and ocean from the 2nd and 3rd floors. I highly recommend it and hope to be able to come back again for a vacation. Kiawah Island was beautiful and there were a lot of good restaurants nearby. We rode our bikes on the beach right next to the water and there were beautiful paths to walk or bike on all around the island. Also the owners were easy to talk with and very helpful.

Gorgeous Villa! Our home away from home!

The condo is absolutely gorgeous and has everything you could want or need and it's oceanfront! If you like to cook, the kitchen is a chef's delight with wonderful appliances and loads of storage space. The upstairs living space is all open and great for family time or entertaining. The decks overlook the ocean. The villa has so much space that 10 people have plenty of room. We also get to bring our dog!
The villa is brand new and beautiful. We have stayed numerous years in the West Beach area and like that it has it's own community pool, West Beach shopping, it's easy to ride your bike to Night Heron Park, the Sanctuary, and Freshfields shopping area.
The owner and manager are very helpful answering any questions you might have.
Kiawah has numerous restaurants and there are other restaurants just outside of the island entrance. Charleston is 35-40 minutes away. Typically, we don't go into Charleston very often because you have everything you need close by.
We would recommend this villa to anyone!

Home condition

I must say that we were dissappointed in the condition of the home. The bathrooms and the kitchen were not as clean as we would have liked. The carpet had spots and there were ants in the laundry room/dinning area. The outside front porch had spyder webs and bird waste on it as did the deck areas. ?For the price paid I would have expected better conditions.
As for Kiawah Island and the grounds everything was great, the beach area cold not have better, warm water and great swimming conditions.

Owner's Response: I am sorry that you were upset about ants and external spider webs. Alas, pesky critters are part and parcel of any tropical island ecosystem. As you know, I personally came over to address your concerns about the ants. You will recall that I eliminated them and also relayed my exterminator's comment that the entire Island was having an ant epidemic at that time. It has nothing to do with cleanliness, they just appeared everywhere. Since then they have disappeared back to wherever ants go when not invading houses. You had the bad luck that they chose your week to appear.

Great location

Thanks to Dennis and Peter for offering your rental units. We appreciate how everything is handled and are grateful for your letting us have our dog with us. Duneside is a good location for easy access to grocery while still having access to the entire island. Kiawah has changed so much since we had our home there but you all make it easy to come back year after year.

This unit was freshly "groomed" and just waiting for us. You make it easy to enjoy ones experience.

In all the time we have been on Kiawah, this was the first time to experience the dolphins strand feeding. It's a glorious sight and not to be missed. Captain Sam's inlet is just a short walk or bike ride away from Duneside to see something quite extraordinary.

Comfortable and Relaxing with a Great View!!!

We enjoyed our stay on Memorial Day weekend. The property was very easy to find. The pool is a stone's throw away and the market is within walking distance as well. The views of the beach were great and wonderful to wake up to every morning. Our door opened right up to the boardwalk and a very short walk to the beach where umbrellas and chairs were ambundant, so no issues with rentals. The furniture in the condo was comfortable and the 2 master bedroom set up was perfect for two families. I would recommend a larger TV in the upstairs master or sitting it on a higher table. It was hard to see lying in bed. :) Also, maybe some basics like coffee and sugar. There was tea, but no sugar or coffee. Plenty of plates and cups to get us through the weekend though! All in all, a great condo that is well appointed and in a great location relevant to the beach. We were very happy to stay and looking forward to coming back! thank you!
